that's what i was thinking. In normal scoring, Keenan side is clearly better but this scoring system is absurd.jonf86 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 1:31 pm In this scoring in 9 games (not counting the one he was injured in), Howard scored 167 points. In 11 games, Keenan's at about 183.
I think considering age and the level of improvement we saw from Howard prior to his injury, he's worth just as much as Allen. I'd argue more and would take the OJ side
Just curious, for you or anyone else that voted for KA, what's your reasoning?
Most people probably read the poll, voted, then commented based on their league settings and not your league settings (which is where the trade is happening and should be all that matters).jonf86 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 8:37 amJust curious, for you or anyone else that voted for KA, what's your reasoning?
Even with Allen's monster game yesterday, in this league scoring, Howard is still averaging more points per game (if you take out the game he was injured early in).
KA = 18.175 ppg
Howard = 18.64 ppg
Howard has age, position scarcity on his side (in a super tight end premium, it becomes worth it to start TE's at flex too even, making them more scarce). Allen has past production.
Because Howard is neck and neck with Allen's scoring this year (which by no means is a down year for KA) and because when Allen will be 30, Howard will be entering his prime, I'd argue Howard is the more valuable player.

I made it seem like there’s a 5-6 year gap? Not sure how I did that. My intention was just to say that howard would be in his prime at 27, which I think is a reasonable statement. Assuming the scoring is a ppr for other positions, but OP correct me if I’m wrongBigBawseRoss wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 8:53 amjonf86 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 8:37 amJust curious, for you or anyone else that voted for KA, what's your reasoning?

the OP gave one bit of scoring info, not all of it, so i cant fully evaluate the scoring aspect. I also do not know starting requirements but most leagues you start at most 2 TE, this guy already had 2 very good options and i dont love his WRs without Keenan Allen.
edit: also its a 2.5 year age gap, not 5-6 like you are making it seem.
ya the line about howard just entering his prime when KA hits age 30 makes it seem like there is some large age gap between the two players...jonf86 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 9:08 amI made it seem like there’s a 5-6 year gap?
