Jimmy Graham trade or Rudolph?

Postby Never Veto1 » Mon Mar 21, 2011 4:58 pm

I am in a 20 team league where we use 2 starting TE’s. I currently have Michael Hoomanawanui and Jeremy Shockey. I am looking to upgrade at TE. I really like Graham and was thinking of making a move for him. I have the 13th pick in our draft coming up. Do you think that is to much to offer? or should I try Shockey plus my 2nd round pick? or should I see if I can get Rudolph at #13 if there is no one else worth taking?
12 Team 1QB PPR
8 Starters - QB 1, RB 2(4), WR 3(5), TE 1(3)

QB - Kyler Murray, Derek Carr, Kenny Pickett
RB - Christian McCaffrey, Bijan Robinson, Kyren Williams, Travis Etienne, James Conner, Antonio Gibson, Chris Rodriguez
WR - Tee Higgins, Jordan Addison, Michael Pittman, Nico Collins, Rashee Rice, Christian Watson, Jerry Jeudy, Rashod Bateman
TE - Sam Laporta, Kyle Pitts, Darren Waller, Isaiah Likely
Picks - 2.10, 3.10, 4.10, 5.10

I think Graham is very over-hyped at this point, but at that price he would be well worth it for you, especially in a start 2 league.

I don't personally think Rudolph (or any other TE in this year's draft) is worth that high of a pick. There are several raw TE's w/ upside that could be had later in the draft that I believe will be more fantasy relevant.

I agree that Graham is being overhyped, however he is worth that draft pick. No way would I consider any TE coming out that soon.

Over-hyped or not Graham is light years better than any TE in this years draft. If you can get him with the 13th pick, do it, your TE corps is scary. I can't imagine anybody would trade you something for Shockey but I suppose you could try. A TE I'm buying low this off-season is Cook.

40 TE's starting, overhyped or not Graham is well worth that price. I am one of the people who think he will be the next stud TE though.

The Saints used Graham alot in the redzone as the season went on. On that offense, he will just about never see double coverage. Go for it - Rudolph has Shiancoe in front of him and no QB.
