I know this community hates Winston

Simple question. Do YOU hate Winston? Use whatever basis you normally do for player valuations- physical abilities, draft capital, off field stuff, how well he eats a W, whatever.

I'm calling bull on this point, and the wider idea that people at a certain forum have group think. Posts won't prove that as easily as a poll would.

I think Jameis is the most CRIMINALLY undervalued dynasty QB entering this year. I am buying him wherever he is available at a discount.

To some degree, Winston is a turd. Dude's decision making has always been questionable stemming from his days at FSU and in the NFL.

Today, I don't own any shares but that doesn't mean I won't.

Real life, aside from the big arm, I want nothing to do with Winston. Poor decision making on and off the field.

For fantasy? Sure fire him up.

Elite supporting cast probably the best in the league if they got a true 3rd down running back.

They will be among the leaders in passing attempts and yards again likely.

Fantasy , I love him for his current value actually.
Let's be honest all this talk of how the Bucs should cut him or trade him or do whatever to move on from him, it;s not gonna happen unless his play drops off a cliff or he really, and I mean really messes up.
While he might not be the best IRL qb, he's still average to above average going into only his fourth year and for fantasy racks up the yardage

I suppose I'll ask a different question. Would you hate to see your favorite NFL team with Winston at the helm? I would.
I don't hate "him," but I do hate the idea of having him lead a team I follow.

well I guess it depends your team, I'm a packers fan, so yes id hate the down grade.

if I were lets say a Cardinals fan, Bills, Broncos, Redskins, Dolphins, Bangles.

Then no I would not hate the guy.

I don't "hate" him. I do think his value may finally be aligning closer to his production. Despite never having anything higher than a QB2 season (14th his best finish), he's been continually viewed as a top 10 QB due to age and upside. For me to consider moving him into that tier, I need to see top 10 numbers and they just aren't there. I don't play the rotation game with my QBs. I want a starter I know I can count on every week. I'm still waiting to see that from Winston. Right now, he's a backup for a fantasy team.

It is important to keep in mind that there has been an influx of QB talent into the league recently. The dynamic of having at least a third of the league desperate for a QB does not exist currently. I am not suggesting all 32 teams definitely have their 'franchise' QB, but the situation is not as dire as it was a couple of years ago. Because of this, I think it allows the TB front office more freedom in regard to signing Winston long term. The prospect of Winston not being re-signed should not be viewed as an impossibility. I believe it is likely they will franchise him a la Cousins in 2020 rather than sign him long term or possibly even move on after 2019. A guy like Teddy Bridgewater(among others) is waiting for an opportunity not to mention QBs entering the league in the next two seasons, it will be interesting to watch unfold.
