I have both on my dynasty roster and i'm afraid to let them go. I feel like i need a few spots to play with in pick ups/drops during the preseason for when i see something that looks good. should i hold them or dump them for free roster spots?

let them go. there isnt going to be a rush to get these guys. the waiver wire can stash them for you.

If you find someone decent on the waiver wire or need the space, cut those two guys and Tolbert with confidence knowing you aren't missing out on anything that any other owner in that league wants. They will probably all be on the waiver wire in my 16 team league after the rookie draft, so they certainly shouldn't be taking up space in that 12 team league.

Sidenote: What does it say about these guys and guys like Dunbar and Ellington that they are not signed when rosters are at 90? Will they have an easier time finding a job when the rosters are at 53?

I can't think of any good reason why either should be rostered.

Especially in 1 rb starter required, I don't think you need either of those guys plus a lot more.

I would also drop Savage, Moore, Perkins, Terrance West, Tolbert and pickup upside guys.

Whats available on your waiver wire? I would think there would be a lot more upside "what the heck" guys out there you could take a shot on and stash.

I always try to think about the range of outcomes for guys and what you could sell them for if they hit.

Picking up rookies and younger players make them higher flip candidates. Hanging on to those guys will get you nowhere.

1QB league? i would easily drop McCown and M Rudolph, neither are rostered in my 1QB leagues and one of them has 30 roster spots
