Would love to help out...AND not because it would guarantee me a spot! That would get me in one of the leagues, right?

BTW - I am located in New Jersey and even though the Steelers won yesterday....the ridiculous analysis and excuses are flying around my office from New York fans! I'm not even gloating (never do it) but they are confirming why people hate them!

Not to hi-jack, but I'd love to hear what "excuses" are being made.
As a Jets fan I point to one thing that cost them the game yesterday - coaching.
In all facets of the game.
The defense looked slow and couldn't tackle.
The playcalling was atrocious. Especially with 1st and Goal from the 2.
That was beyond frustrating to watch.
And clock management.
And 8 minute drive in the 4th that nets you 0 pts (I guess 2 if you count the safety) when you need 2 scores to tie is just beyond piss poor clock management.

My feeling is the Jets shouldv'e kept talking smack this week just like they did against the Patriots, not sure why all of the sudden they decided to stop it for the Steelers. It felt like they lost their swagger and edge by suddendly deciding to change their act.

Plus rex didn't say or do anthing off the wall prior to the game like he had the previous two games...I think that took a lot of the pressure off of the team and put it on him...

Lemmi....I agree with all of your points!!!!

I am hearing the fumbled play by Sanchez that was returned for a TD was a bad call, the refs wanted Pitt to win so on, so on...My opinion, there was little to no smack talk since the caoches have a past history, the teams are very even as far as overall talent, mutual respect for each others defense, style of play and the Steelers are not natural rivals like the Colts, Pats and Dolphins...

Exactly.
The talking during the first two weeks was all contrived.
The media was focused on Rex and not last years title game, Rex's 1-5 record against Manning or the 45-3 drubbing by the Pats. Instead the players answer questions about Rex saying this or Rex saying that.

The difference this week is the Jets strive to be what the Steelers are - the playground bully.
As the king of the hill, the Steelers have no reason to talk trash.
You don't head into a fight with the bully by running your mouth.
You shut up and take care of business, like the Steelers have done.

While I will say there were some questionable penalties and none calls (that may be my green tinted glasses), you can't rest the loss solely on that.
And that was a fumble, no question.

Hey guys,

Slight change of plans. A great league mate of mine will be the commissioner of this league instead of myself. Work has been crazy recently so I wasn't sure I would have the time to dedicate to the league.

His name is JB and is know as BubbaBurst here on the forum.

I have forwarded all of the apps to him as well as a few recommendations...

Good luck fellas, I know the league will be a huge success!

Mark
