Trying to snag Charles

Ok, so 0.5 ppr league with 4 keepers. I'm trying to snag Charles away from this guy, but he is being stubborn in not wanting to move him.

My team:

QB: Vick, Romo, Orton
RB: Hillis, Gore, Dwill, Jstew, Fjax,
WR: White, Williams (TB), Smith (NYG), Vjax, Harvin
TE: Miller (OAK), Pettigrew

His team:

QB: Ryan, Flacco, Collins
RB: Foster, Charles, Bradshaw, Choice, Best
WR: AJ, Knox, Welker, Bess
TE: Gates, Moeaki

So far, I've offered him Hillis, which he declined. I then offered him Hillis + Romo. That was declined as well. He seems to be trying to get Williams out from me. Any advice on what I should offer him to get Charles?

He has 4 stud keepers in Foster, Charles, AJ, and Gates...unless you can offer him 2 stud players who he should keep over these guys it isn't going to happen. You don't have an RB or WR that improve his situation.

And this does not belong in the dynasty section...it should be in the redraft/keepers section.

In a keep four, where he already has several studs to choose from, you're going to have to blow him away. DeAngelo Williams plus Mike Williams might get him thinking - he can wait and see what happens with DWill, and have Mike Williams to fall back on as his #4 keeper.

For your part, you've already got at least six players who could be considered keepers in a keep 4. If you seriously think that Charles is a better option than what you have, then tell the other owner that he can pick any two players on your roster for Charles. You'll still be left with decent options. Or limit him to one player at each position so that he doesn't take both Roddy White and Mike Williams.

Agree with the above. In a keep four, you are going to have to bring it. But I wouldn't overpay. I like your choices in the potential four. Vick, Gore, White, DWilliams, Stewart or VJackson would be my choices.

If you want Charles that bad, I agree with meineymoe, but I like what you have already...
