Trade Advice

Postby Klipklopp » Thu Dec 30, 2010 9:58 pm

Keeper league trade advice needed here!

I am being offered Pierre Thomas and James David for Dexter McCluster and Kenny Britt...

I am inclined to take this trade because I get a good young RB who is a free agent... I know if he stays with NO he deals with Bush and Ivory, but I think he's a good young guy to grab.

I am struggling a bit with giving up Britt... He is 6-3 and 215 and very young - but starting to produce! He has produced points in just about every game he has played in despite being in a crummy pass offense...

Any input/advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!

No way I do that trade. James Davis is a throw away player, and Pierre is just a middle of the road RB. Britt has the makings of a great WR, which is something I would definitely not give up to get an ok RB who if he leaves NO will lose value imo.
Start: 2 QB, 3 RB, 5 WR, 2 TE (All TDs=6, 1 per 10 rush/rec, 1 per 25 pass, NO PPR) 8 teams
QB: Rodgers, Vick, Cutler, Schaub, Luck
RB: Rice, CJ, McFadden, Richardson, Stewart, Ingram, Spiller, Vereen
WR: Green, Marshall, Roddy, Jennings, Roddy, Bowe, Maclin, Britt, A Brown, Williams (TB), Collie, Smith (STL)
TE: Graham, Finley, F Davis, Cook
Taxi Squad: Tebow, Crabtree, Jeffrey, Hill, Gordon

how many keepers? Scoring system? Starter requirements? I'd be inclined to stick with Britt, but depends on other factors.......

Britts the best player in that deal. I wouldn't move him alone for Thomas, an interchangeable rb, and Davis.
