Luck trade dispute

Men and Women of this fine board,

I am going back and forth with a fellow owner over a trade that I don’t think is going to happen. In our 10 team superflex he came to me with an offer of Mike Williams, a 2019 1st (mid to late) and a 2019 2nd mid to late for Andrew Luck. I told him I would do it if he added Sony Michel. He is balking and telling me his offer is very reasonable. I thought I was still underselling luck with my offer. Am I way off here? Team one in my sig. plus I have added through the rookie draft so far...
1.01 Barkley
1.07 ROJO
2.04 Lamar Jackson
3.02 Sam Darnold

Cross posted in the superflex and 2 QB board

Darnold at 3.02 means your league really doesn't value the superflex position...offer is light, counter seems fair, move on if middle not found

With your team I would target a top end WR... but it's probably difficult, because lamar im mid 2nd and Darnold 3rd means that nobody cares about QBs lol

Agree with comments above.... QBs are too low...

It basically comes down to whether or not you think Luck comes back and is able to perform at a high level.... Luck comes back the way he was before and it still would be an undersell with Michel included (IMO). Luck doesn't come back right and obviously the deal without Michel is a pretty nice haul.

Maybe do the deal with Sony Michel but not the 2nd? I personally would not sell Luck for the initial offer.... but you can call me a Luck believer.... or a "Luck is my only option so he better come back" believer ;)

I don't think Luck is coming out of this thing clean. I'd say there's a better chance he's altogether done than that he comes back to his old form. I'd happily sell him for the '19 1st, 2nd and Michel. Tell him he can keep Mike Williams and you want Michel instead.
I'd sell for less, personally, but with his initial offer, you MIGHT be able to get the above done.

i cant take your question seriously when we are talking about a superflex league where a qb drafted a 3 overall went in the 3rd. you need a more serious league my dude.

as for your valuation its correct, his is also correct but thats because of how your entire league obviously undervalues QBs

I’m struggling with it myself! I’m no superflex expert as this is everyone’s first SF league and we just had our startup draft a month ago but after doing all the research I feel I have a semi decent understanding of how important QBs are. Although I am just loading up on qbs now. I’ve even had a couple guys make fun of me for having so many QBs. I have 5 and I think they are pretty darn good.

I currently only play 2qb or superflex. Nobody understands the value in your league if Darnold fell that far, Jackson too.

If you really want to enjoy the format, you'll need a new league.

Keep Luck. His offer is light. Understand you asking for Michel too but too risky to trade that for Luck.

Your counter seems legit, but if I was the other owner, I wouldn't do that with Luck's risk. Maybe pull off the 19 1st or 2nd and try. Rodgers, Wilson, Luck, Darnold, and Jackson you are loaded! You will be contending for years.

Just stick with your QB's. Don't sell short just because your leaguemates are educated. They will soon realize a top QB combo each week will almost certainly beat out a team with a top RB combo but trash QB's

I’m going to keep them all unless I get blown away with a deal. Where do you feel I need to improve. I think WR. I have an offer on the table of giving away Diggs for Landry/Gallup. I just don’t think Landry is gonna have the year that he did last year and I think Diggs might have his breakout year with a better qb. Gallup is just a toss up in this trade.

i don't think anyone is paying that price for Luck, perhaps 2 years ago, hopefully 2 years from now, but not today....
i do think your offer is unreasonable...things would be different if this were a 14 team superflex (heck, even a 12 team), but not for a 10 team league...and not for a QB that hasn't thrown a pass in over 12 months
also, you obviously know how devalued QBs are by the startup draft and especially the rookie draft and you are asking for a premium...again, hopefully in a year or 2 your league mates will come around to a more appropriate value, but not today..is this a TE premium league? pts per carry?
if you don't like Mike Williams, maybe you could get a different piece instead..
i try not to get into leagues with dynasty novices
good luck

Keep luck... load up on more qbs and let folks figure out what superflex really is and then come to you and cash out. How bizarre.
