Doubt anyone is selling Trevor low, but you are right. I should go throw some offers out.
I meant buy Ridley, because we know Trevor isn’t bad. But sure, if someone is selling Trevor as well…

Two rough weeks for sure but also few plays away from adding some TDs (week 2), good targets 8/7 in those games. Feels like Jax might be struggling or playing good defenses (KC).

I am not gonna lie will be thinking about week 4 between Ridley, Cooper and Ford.

It didn't get a lot of play, but I believe just about every OL starter of consequence is currently out.

Cam Robinson is suspended until Week 5, and I believe they've had more injuries since then.

I do think TL would really benefit from better protection for sure - I've not watched too close, but every time he's on Redzone he's running for his life.

The Jags haven't played well the last two weeks. Ridley getting the lion's share of target though.

I'm still a believer. The Jags will turn it around eventually this year.
I think the Jags will turn it around.
I don't think the Jags turning it around will mean Ridley has to put up fantasy WR1 numbers.
It's going to be interesting to see how this receiving corps turns out at season's end.

Had I not seen what T Law did in that 1st vs 2nd half against the Chargers in the playoffs, I'd be more concerned. It's been a bit of a weird season so far, in general. A lot of "good" QB's had had a bit of a struggle these first few weeks, and there have been some surprising results, but I think Pederson and Lawrence will figure it out.

I also think some credit is due to that new Texans coaching staff. They are no joke.

Habaneros make the best hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".

Objectively, other than his run last year TLaw hasn't been very good. Year 1 gets an asterisk, but I don't know. This may not be a slow start, this may be who he is.

This is getting depressing. Dude has the talent, just isn't getting the targets today. Sounds like ATL is focusing him, so that is positive, but not much else.

He's a solid WR, but he's past his prime, and isn't talented enough to shake off extra attention, like the elite WR's. T Law has missed a few reads today, but mainly to Kirk. Outside of a blown coverage TD, Ridley isn't looking like a difference maker. He's still a good player, but he's not looking like a FF difference maker/WR1 type.

Kirk remains the WR to buy into in JAX. Ridley is a nice circus piece and what-the-heck flex, but Kirk is the receiver that gets the best, most consistent results.

Except week 1 when he had 1 catch for 9 yards

Yeah, that was ridiculous.

However, in the three games since then, Kirk has 23 receptions on 32 targets, for 248 yards and 1 TD. That's approximately 8 catches and 11 targets per game. That works for me. If that volume keeps up, Kirk will have another T15WR season this year.

Defenses are scheming Ridley out and when the pendulum swings back to balance or towards Kirk, Ridley will eat again. Think it will be difficult to predict who eats in this offense on a weekly basis, and unfortunately, I don't know if TLaw is taking the big step many hoped for.
