Greene has the cake matchup with the Cowboys this week so I'd have picked another guy. On the other hand, I don't know how McKinnon is on the waivers in any league in the first place unless it's a redraft league.

As u can see we have a small bench. Only 19 total spots, with roster restrictions of at least 2 at each position. 12 teams dynasty, 13th year. We have been playing since before the internet boom and waivers were done by phone.

McKinnon only got 4 touches last week but was on the field for 21 snaps. I expect him to get more touches this week as I would expect the Viking to try to work him into the game plan.

This is what I was expecting also. Last week, news broke on the AP case on Friday evening after all practices had concluded and the game plan was already fully installed. They kind of just swapped Asiata into the AP role and hoped for the best and tried to get McKinnon some playing time while they were at it. I am expecting them to get McKinnon more reps and try to prepare him for a larger role and get him some quality touches in the near future. Norv knows Asiata isn't a very good back and he knows how to utilize special physical talents. All it will take is some game planning and a little more experience/coaching up for McKinnon. So far, I'd say McKinnon's rookie season is looking a lot like Crowell's inasmuch as he is getting a chance to show his chops a lot sooner than anyone ever dreamed.

Besides that receiving TD Asiata looked pretty bad, especially running the ball. I think that McKinnon will end up getting the majority of carries at some point this year but probably not this week.

x2. This is entirely opinion based, but I would think at least a month of grooming (from now) would be necessary before he starts getting that kind of workload.
