As we have done the past couple seasons, let's have a thread to place all 2017 Rookie Drafts that include IDPs.

Please post a link to your IDP rookie drafts as they occur this off-season, along with the lineup requirements and league makeup (ie: 12, 14, 16 team).



Can one of the forum moderators replace the 2017 thread with this thread?

Here is a link to our 10 team PPR league. We started at 10am Sunday April 29th(morning after the draft ended)

It is a tackle heavy league(for now) but we are transitioning to big play next year(2019). I'm trying to make a trade:
I'd be giving up:
2019 late 2nd
2019 late 3rd
2019 late 3rd

and I'm looking to acquire:
3.01 and 3.04
Plus the only thing we havent agreed on was a little more compensation coming my way. I asked for DeForest Buckner but he said it's a little too much. I'm thinking making getting N.Bowman in place and with my picks there is quite a few guys still of interest being:
Leighton Vander Esch (I've got inside info Hurst or LVE will be gone at 2.09)
Lamar Jackson
Mayfield
Darnold
Rosen
Anthony Miller
Hayden Hurst

Any discussion or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am a Ravens fan so Lamar Jackson will be tough to pass up but then again, no QBs have been selected to date...is he possibly first selected with his rushing potential?

12 team, 1QB, full IDP starting lineups (3/3/3/2 Flex), big play scoring that REALLY seeks to reward stud pass rushers (Everson Griffen for instance, scored as much as a guy like Melvin Gordon or Michael Thomas)

Yeah, that was a pick added by the Commish. I'm not in that league so I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that it was a draft pick penalty, and the Commish added a throwaway player instead of just leaving the spot skipped.

Since the drafts are now under way here's links to 3 IDP rookie only drafts. All 3 leagues are 24 team with balanced scoring, 40 man rosters {there are a few differences in starting roster and scoring but they are subtle as the later leagues were created as "near clones" of the first

In general start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, flex{one or two depending on league}, K, 4 DB, 3 DL, 3 LB, {1 DL/LB flex in the two newer leagues}
only one copy of each player

All drafts started on Friday May 4, historically the drafts take about a month to complete. There is overlap in owners among the leagues though each league has some unique owners as well as a few diehards who are in all three, and some who are only in two. Hope some will find some value in watching these drafts for their own drafts

The DLF Charter League. 12 team. start 2DL, 2LB, 2DB, 1Flex. Tackle and turnover heavy scoring: ta=2, fum rec=4, pass def= 2; INT= 4; sack= 3.

First 3 rounds rookie only, then rookie/FA for final 5 rounds.

Thank you! I couldn't believe some of the players that fell.

In regards to Chubb, this draft was right after the NFL draft when Chubb was still a DE on MFL (I personally wondered if he would play DE even in Denver's 3-4, just like Bosa did his rookie year), but even as an OLB I can theoretically see the guy's reasoning for taking him there. In this league, elite pass rushers are SO valuable. I was the runner up last year, and other than Gurley it was primarily on the backs of Everson Griffen & Cam Heyward. We get points for the sack, TFL, yards on the sack, and QB hit. A 2-sack game is usually a 25-point day for that player, even without any other stats.

I'm in two leagues that both just started drafting today. Same setup in each: 10 team, start QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, flex, DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, CB, 2 S, 2 defensive flex, K.
