This is a thread to record / catalog any and all rookie drafts where Saquon Barkley does not go 1.01.

Maybe it is a PPR league and the owner really wants a WR (so takes DJ Moore).

Maybe it is a TE Premium or start 2 TE league and the owner really wants a TE (so takes Mike Gesicki).

Maybe it is a Superflex, 2 QB or Tripleflex league and the owner really wants a QB (so takes Josh Allen).

I am not saying it is likely, and I am not saying it is probable - just that it is possible.

Why start this thread so early? Because one league I am in has their rookie draft next week - and I know other leagues like to have their rookie draft pre-NFL draft as well.

So any time you see someone other than Barkley go 1.01 in your rookie draft hopefully you'll remember to share it on this thread.

Devy league where Barkley is already owned is the only scenario I can imagine here.

This ought to be a pretty short thread then.

I can totally see that if you play in a salary cap dynasty and avoid him the biggest pay from day one, thinking about all the potentials increases he could have year after year.

Yea I mean anything other than barkley is a joke unless he’s previously owned and I have seen a couple double superflex leagues out there.

In those leagues I can absolutely see a qb 1.

I play in a tripleflex league with QB premium scoring. I don't know if Barkley will go 1 in that league. I assume he still will (Davis went 1.1 last year then Watson at 2), but it wouldn't be a bad pick at all in my opinion if someone took a QB. I still think it'd be safer to take Barkley and trade him for a QB if needed rather than drafting a rookie QB which is an absolute dart throw like most rookie picks.

It's way too low ! What about taking him at 1.005 ?

I have a league that starts 3 QB's with 2 SF spots. I have the second pick and hope I get Barkley with it. The max for QB's is 5 for the league and i'm planning on keeping Wentz, Winston, Luck, Watson and Mahomes. Which would be half of my keepers as we get 10.
