Never understood why Washington refused to pony up the bucks. He carried them with little to play with at times. I remember watching them put up 30+ pts on the Queens with ease and his first bomb was to some guy even I had not heard of. That's rare for me, but he can sling it.
The guy is criminally underrated. 6th best career QB rating in nfl history. And he's top 5 in both ypa and QB rating the last 3 years with modest help on offense. All the other guys in those top 5 lists he's gone stride for stride with are hall of farmers (Brady, Brees, Big Ben, Rodgers).

I think Denver has to be the biggest handicap.

Really just excited to see fellow Red Raider Mahomes get his shot. He needed to sit for a year more than most 1st round QB prospects, but his upside is really special.

Y/A rank the past 3 seasons:

2015 - 8th
2016 - 3rd
2017 - 10th

QB rating rank the past 3 seasons:

2015 - 5th
2016 - 7th
2017 - 12th

They're not bad stats but def not "top 5 in both ypa and QB rating the last 3 years" where are you getting your info?

Also his career QB rating is tied for 10th with Kurt Warner but you really need to take career long stats with a grain of salt a lot of the time. Matt Schaub has the 15th highest QB rating all time and Kaepernick is 16th, also Smith is 23rd all time. There are HOFers like Aikman, Stuabach and Marino who are lower down than all of those I listed, doesn't mean that much to me as a stat by itself.

Assuming Alexis can throw 10 yards.

I really like Cousins to Arizona as an option. That would be a nice fit. Denver and Jacksonville are interesting.

Alex Smith in Washington is a fantasy disaster IMO. Lots of checkdowns for Chris Thompson though maybe.

New dream. Cousins to Arizona and they sign Arob. They can do something similar to Pittsburgh

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Kirk to the Vikes. That’s about all they need is a QB that is more than a game manager.

How much cap space do they have for that?

Oooh this inspired me to create another bad joke - other than that it should be exciting to see where Cousins lands. Obviously where he lands could have a major impact on how the draft plays out ...

Well as a Doctson truther i'm glad Cousins is gone. Every time I turned on a Washington game this year Cousins was missing Doctson terribly. Under-throwing just about every deep ball. I know Cousins puts up good stats every year but I was not impressed this year at all whenever I watched him. Idk maybe it's just me. Of course Alex Smith is not exactly the type of guy you want throwing to your WR either. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Assuming he stays healthy of course.
Crowder may be better with Smith, he is exactly Smith's type of player.
Thats exactly what I was thinking. Crowder may have just gotten the ideal QB for his skill set.

More than that, and when March arrives he’s going to get it too.
