Hoping for some clarity. I have a standing offer on the table. I give Cobb and 1.12 and get Adams.

It's a start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2Flex ppr with 1.5/rec TE premium; 20 man rosters

My roster is:
Brady, Mariota
Ingram, Kelley, Richard
Tate, Moncrief, Sanders, Cobb, Doctson, Treadwell, Lee
Gronk, Kelce
1.03, 1.12, 3.01, 3.08

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I think it's a good trade for you. I'm pretty high on Adams though and not very high on Cobb. Adams is coming off his 3rd year breakout with 75-997 12 TDs and in a contract season, with one of the best QBs in the game and he has the ability to take over the #1 spot when Jordy retires, which could be in a couple of seasons. I'm all-in on Adams though so I'm biased, good luck.

I think you make that deal for Adams before the deal gets taken off the table.

Seems pretty cheap for Adams. Take it before the other owner changes his mind.

What a difference a year makes! Last year was the opposite!

That's the cause for my concern. Cobb had been worth a lot more than Adams for quite a while. Wondering if recency bias is at play here. Cobb had a mediocre year in 2016 because of injury. Adams was dreadful the year before likely because of injury. If both are healthy, maybe they produce similar numbers and I'm throwing away a late 1st.

Thanks for all the great feedback so far.

To me, the reason that I like Adams quite a bit more is that Cobb will never be a #1 WR for a team, he just doesn't have the size, whereas, Adams does and everything is pointing to Adams being a big part of the Packers future. Cobb really just works the slot and plus with the emergence of Montgomery, I think that will take away some of his receptions too.

I spoke with Matthew Berry at Disney while he was doing a Q&A at the espn club and asked what he thought of Adams. He was high on him too, said that Rodgers loves him, the targets only increased as the season went on. Jordy only has 1 maybe 2 productive seasons left (if he can stay healthy). Adams is the future in Green Bay

I'd try and offer a second and Cobb, should be enough to get th deal done. If not, pull the trigger

Realistically, Cobb has been coasting on 2014 for the past couple of years. I just don't see it with him. Give me the Adams side.

He's rescinded the offer and sent another one with my 2018 2nd included as well.

So Cobb, 1.12, and 2018 2nd
for
Adams

Still a go?
