what do you think about trading A Boldin, M Manningham, M Lynch and 2011 rd1 pick for J Charles? it is a PPR dynasty league and I am in desperate need of a 2nd RB...1QB,1 RB,3WR,1TE and 1RB/WR flex option.I think I would have enough options to fill the 3rd WR spot and would benefit much more with Charles as a 2nd RB over a 4th WR...This is my roster!!! thx in advance

Orton, Kyle DEN QB
Rivers, Philip SDC QB
Bell, Mike PHI RB
Jackson, Brandon GBP RB
Jones-Drew, Maurice JAC RB
Lynch, Marshawn BUF RB
Scott, Bernard CIN RB
Bennett, Earl CHI WR (P)
Boldin, Anquan BAL WR
Edelman, Julian NEP WR
Gonzalez, Anthony IND WR (P)
Maclin, Jeremy PHI WR
Manningham, Mario NYG WR
Murphy, Louis OAK WR
Robiskie, Brian CLE WR
Smith, Steve NYG WR
Davis, Fred WAS TE
Olsen, Greg CHI TE
Bironas, Rob TEN PK
Steelers, Pittsburgh PIT Def

I don't think you have the depth to make the trade.

I don't like this trade for you - you can't really be giving up that much for someone who might not even be a regular starter for you.

I'd sit back and wait with Lynch and Bernard Scott and see how their situations play out.

btw, I don't think your WRs are as strong as you may think - I'd be looking more at upgrading that situation, since you need to start at least three every week.

I wouldn´t do that deal. I´m not a Charles fan at all and would rather keep those players and the pick.

I think you're giving up too much. Your WR position isn't overwhelming to begin with, doing this trade puts you in a hole at a position that requires 3 starters.

You aren't in that much of a desperate need @ RB. Your league only starts 1RB while you can use up to 4WRs. Play your strongest assets each week and be active on the waiver wire. MJD is the stud RB1. Scott could surprise this year with Benson's relapse to stupid. Also Lynch should get opportunities. If the Bills intend to trade him the only way to increase his trade value is to increase his playing time. He could also still be traded before the season.

2011 looks like it has the potential to be a deep fantasy draft class (underclassmen declarations pending). I would hold onto that pick. If you're that desperate try shopping MJD around for 2RBs. I know thats a radical idea for some people to grasp but he has the most value of any of your players. You won't know what he's worth if you don't try.

That's a lot to give up for a player that has "bust" written all over him

Way too much to give up imo. You are only required to start 1 RB, so I think there is no need to take less value to acquire Charles. Also, I do not think Charles is going to have the season/career that some people do.

x2. I'm a Chiefs fan and I don't like Charles. Thomas Jones is going to steal goal line looks. And as posted before, you don't have the WR's depth to make this deal.

In a 10 team league where I have to shed players to make the 20 team keeper limit, I traded for Charles last month:

I gave: 1.4, 1.7, Addai, Donald Brown, Sanchez
I got: 1.2, Charles, Vince Young.

I'm happy with that deal, as Addai & Brown were tying up 2 spots that got condensed into Charles, and along with upgrading to Matthews or Dez (probably Matthews), I felt the value. So did the other owner though, he's stoked to get Spiller/Best & Golden Tate.

That being said, I think you'd be giving up way too much for him. I'd pass.

The value is probably close, but you would be devastating your WRs to make this deal. I'd hold Lynch and cross my fingers that he gets traded.
