Jeffery for Devonta + Tevin

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Jeffery for Devonta + Tevin

Postby FeartheRavens06 » Wed Jan 25, 2017 10:48 am

For team in sig I have sent this offer

Give: Alshon Jeffery
Get: Devonta Freeman + Tevin Coleman

Jeffery hasn't been too hot lately but still feel he is a top 15 WR. Could also dangle Cooks or Sammy instead (I would ask for a pick back as well in that case.) I think I am a top RB away from a title run so willing to overpay if I have to as my current RBs are trash

Does this offer seem fair to you? Thoughts? I have tried and failed to get in the top 2 of this years draft so have to explore other options to get a RB

I personally like freeman and coleman over Alshon. I also think that moving Jeffrey to boost your RBs hurts your WRs greatly.

I'd take the RB's over Alshon!

It's tough! I think moving Jeffery to get those rbs is s great deal for you but then it leaves you a little slim at RB

I think on value I like getting Freeman and Coleman, but Alshon makes more sense for your team...unless he goes to the Rams and loses a ton of value.

I would do that easy. It would cost a mid to early 1st round more than that to have me trade away my Freeman and Coleman.

I'd take the RB side easy in this one

Feeman/Coleman side for me as well.

Albeit this is coming from someone who is pretty low on Alshon Jeffrey. Having Freeman/Coleman, AP, and Lacy will give you a solid core at RB then with your 1.04 nab Williams/Davis to replace Alshon. Being able to roll out Watkins, Diggs, Cooks, and whichever WR you take at 1.04 is a really young, promising group.

Do it!

gonna pile on here - Freeman/Coleman side.. I'm higher on Jeffrey than most, but that RB duo is hard to pass.

Freeman/coleman side. Don't trust Alshon though he has the talent he never plays.

Based on the overwhelming preference for Freeman/Coleman, I'm going to guess your trade partner isn't going to bite on moving them for Alshon alone. If you really want to snag the duo, you're going to have to gauge his interest in the trio of Watkins/Cooks/Alshon and offer up the one he likes best. And likely a little sweetener along the way.

Probably right but he is less responsive than most owners so figured I'd just get a firm offer out there instead of going back and forth waiting on replies for weeks. Thanks for the input everyone!
