Salary League Advice

Postby BubbaBurst » Tue May 11, 2010 8:10 am

Ok, so my long time salary league decided to blow it up and redraft this year as some teams were absolutely awful. My squad looks really nice:

QB: Ben, Stafford, Whitehurst
RB: Ray Rice, DeAngelo, PT, Bradshaw, M. Bush
WR: Calvin, Jennings, Bowe, Welker, Braylon
TE: Finley, Gonzo

Its, an IDP league but for this question that doesnt really matter. Salaries are a non issue. It also has 6 pts for QB tds, but ill let someone else overdraft Bradford and Clausen. What does matter, is that the lineups can be 0-2 RB, 1-4WR. So here's my question... I jsut dealt the #6 rookie pick and #18 rookie pick for the #2 and the #38 with the plan to take Dez Bryant. Then, the person picking #1 selected CJ Spiller. Now I'm not sure if i should be jumping to snag Matthews, or building up my WR depth. Thoughts?

You could go either way with your roster. I would see if the owner of the 1.3 is interested in trading it and a little something for the 1.2. That way you get a little extra in return and you still get either Mathews or Dez.
