Cut down time & a trade offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Cut down time & a trade offer

Postby KU Sucks » Mon Apr 19, 2010 9:18 am

I need to cut 1 player from this list; will probably do Berrian as he is at least the 3rd or 4th option for the vikes now. Also have been offered Vick & Shinacoe for Plamer & Shockey; I'm ok with the TE portion just don't like Vick right now and especially after how bad he looked last year. Opinions?

PPR, Passing TD 6 pts

D. Brees
C. Palmer
D. Dixon
K. Kolb
D. Brown
J. Charles
M. Barber
J. Davis
K. Ogletree
B. Berrian
P. Harvin
T.J. Houshmanzadeh
L. Evans
J. Maclin
B. Gibson - x
J. Shockey
Z. Miller - Jags
M. Bennett
Gostkowski
Vikings

I might cut Ogletree before i cut Berrian. But, how about trying to swing Dixon to the team that has Roethlisberger in case he gets supended by the NFL?

We've has this conversation before. Cutting a young 20s wide out with potential for a 30 year old whos the third wide out on his team, has injury concerns and has zero chance of ever being a worth starter (barely any chance of being a worthy bye week fill-in IMHO) makes no sense. Cut Berrian, every day.

Cut Z Miller.

Read a few things on him in-season and he apparently cant block to save his life.

He will not be a TE1.

cut Minn D or Gostkowski. If you have to keep K or D, Berrian is an easy cut. Ogletree shouldn't even be close to a consideration.

Berrian or Miller

I'd see what other options you have to get Shiancoe as he'd immediately step in as your starter.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
