Trying to trade for a stud RB...........

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trying to trade for a stud RB...........

Postby strim5181 » Thu Apr 08, 2010 10:13 pm

I'm trying to get a a good rb and have Ray Rice and Frank Gore in mind. What ya think about this scenario?

I give:
Wayne
Thomas Jones (I realize he won't be last years TJ)
1st round pick 1.13

FOR

Rice and 2nd or 3rd round pick OR Gore and 2nd or 3rd round pick

Rice and Gore are owned by 2 separate teams and both teams have top 6 picks AND
they have absolutely no wr's worth getting excited about........

it should get gore without a problem... but you could probably trade wayne straight up for gore...?

and its not even close for ray rice.

Wayne could get you Gore straight up... but then again I wouldn´t recommend trading for Gore. I´d rather try Ray Rice, allthough your offer shouldn´t be nearly good enough to get him, even if you just take out the pick that is suposed to come your way.
24 roster spots - 1QB,2RB,3WR,1TE,1Flex

QB: Herbert,Minshew
RB: Breece,Walker,Taylor,BRobinson,Allgeier,Spiller
WR:Jefferson,Lamb,DJMoore,QJohnston,Jameson,MMims, T.Marshall,Shakir,Gallup
TE: Andrews,Conklin
DST:DAL
2024 picks: 1.11, 2.10, 4.01, 4.05, 4.07, 4.11

I agree with the others. No way that offer gets Rice. Not even close, unless the other guy fell off the turnip truck yesterday!

Wayne for Gore could probably be had, but I don't like Gore, never have. I certainly don't think he's a stud RB.

In this thread, I lay out my opinions on acquiring a stud player. Disregard some of the personal crap that took place.

I agree with the others, not enough for Rice, too much for Gore.

I also have DeSean to deal if need be. Do you think he is more valuable than Wayne?
