Redskins coach Mike Shanahan isn't ruling out a run at free agent Terrell Owens after the upcoming draft.
Shanny wouldn't mention T.O. by name, but he did say the Redskins will wait out the market. "Maybe after our minicamps, maybe after the draft, some guy will be out there," said Shanahan, "and we'll gobble him because we think he has a chance to improve our football team." Would not be surprised to see him bring in Owens, Marshall, Torain, or John Doe off the street. The Skins need a lot of help in a lot of places. One thing is for sure, Shanny will make them better with the deep pockets of daddy Dan. Only difference will be that Shanny will pay good players and not waste money on over-hyped ones. May take a while with the mess he inherited though.
