D. Smelter good bench stash?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

D. Smelter good bench stash?

Postby NY CAT » Thu Apr 28, 2016 7:30 am

Is D. Smelter a good bench stash or waiver wire fodder?

12 team PPR league.

He is coming back from ACL injury. 49ers wr depth chart is filled with substandard players.

Is the Chip Kelly factor reason for optimism?

Without knowing the size of the roster it is impossible to know.

But yes, definitely someone to stash/keep an eye on.

30 roster spots in a 12 team league.

Starting line up is 16 players

That's deep enough for a stash. I have him in two leagues.

I feel like a large amount of the interest in this kid has been fueled by the fact that he's another big bodied WR coming out of the same school as DT, only with an even smaller sample of stats on which to base anything. That said, if I had 30 man rosters, there are likely very few guys more worthy of a deep bench stash.

I have him in one league he's a crap shoot I'll see how things play out in the draft/preseason with that being said he's a fringe player with one foot out the door..
