Gronk Trade Advice

Hey all, appreciate any advice here. 10 team, 30 man rosters, full PPR, 1qb 3wr, 2rb, 1te, 1flex, top six make playoffs.

Luck, Bradford, Osweiler, Kap
K. Allen, Evans, J. Matthews, K. White, DGB, Perriman, Agholor, Lafell, Quick, Martavis, K. Wright
D. Johnson, Hyde, Hill, R. Mathews, Matt Jones, Crowell, A. Andrews, Sankey, K. Robinson
Gronk, ASJ

I am feeling a bit worried about my WR's after Allen and Evans. Looking for advice on the trade below, whether it is fair, or should I stand pat and count on a mix of my veterans and sophmores stepping up. I feel I have a pretty competitive team that should make the playoffs.

TRADE: I give up Gronk and Jeremy Hill for Moncrief, Landry, Ebron and 3.01

Advice?

I think you need to stand pat. That is not enough of a return for Gronk.

I think you are worrying too much about your WRs. I see a really good lineup. Evans and Allen are no brainer weekly starters and Matthews is underrated. He's not a top end WR1 in my opinion but he could be very solid. Then you get the option to play matchup between White, DGB, Perriman. And I would think White would eventually take over as your #3 WR.

If anything I would look to move Osweiller to a QB needy team who is buying his hype in Houston. Pair Agholor with him and upgrade your WR depth, but I'm not a fan of Agholor.

But I like your team as it is. Not knowing the other rosters I think you definitely have a top 6 roster as is.

I think your WR group is great. You have two solid starters and Matthews, White, DGB, OR Perriman could all breakout this year. Of those I'm especially excited to see Kevin White this season, and DGB now that there should be some semblance of a running game in Nashville.

Honestly, I think that trade would be a bad move. I don't like Ebron at all, so you'd be hoping that ASJ would do something this year. Either way, that's a MASSIVE downgrade at TE for a very minimal upgrade at WR.

I agree with 0crush on trying to move Osweiler and Agholor, and I'd throw Hill in there too, to try to to upgrade your RB group. I think that's your weakest position.

I would agree that isn't enough for Gronk. I really like landry and am a big fan of moncrief, but it is also a huge downgrade at TE. Ebron has done nothing but disappoint. Landry helps your WR core, but Moncrief and Ebron are guys with potential and yet to prove it yet.

You are starting 3 WRs on a weekly basis plus a flex, and I think at worst case, one of White, DGB or Perriman will turn into a guy you can play on a weekly basis.

If I am trading Gronk I want more.

I think Gronk = Landry + Moncrief

Hill > Ebron and 3.01

I would try to remove Hill and maybe the pick from the deal and just do that.

For comparison, I recently got Gronk/Ryan Mathews for Jeremy Langford, Hurns, Perriman, Fleener, 3.6. Most everyone thought I stole Gronk. The two trades are fairly comparable although you'd be getting 2 better WRs than what I shipped out. That said, I think most everyone is going to say Gronk is worth more, especially when you add in Hill.

So much wrong with that potential trade... I wouldn't move just Gronk for that. He is worth more than both WRs and the rest of the return is near worthless. Your WRs are fine as is, why create so much risk at TE???

I traded Gronk for AB a few months ago. I think you need to land one of the top WRs to move him.

I agree you need more for Gronk. If he wants a stud like Gronk then he's gonna have to come off somebody better than Landry
