TMZ.com is reporting that Tiger Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren, caused his SUV accident when she distracted him by hitting the vehicle with a golf club as he was driving away after an argument regarding another woman.

TMZ says that Elin confronted him after seeing a report about him seeing another woman and then went after him and the SUV when he bolted from the house around 2:30 a.m. on Friday morning. Oh, the drama. TMZ has become a fairly reliable source about these kind of reports, but we'll have to see what the police say after interviewing him over the weekend. Rotoworld

Wow. Thats a little different from the story I was hearing on the news yesterday. Initial reports said he was involved in an accident near his house and his wife used a golf club to break the window to help get him out of the car. Police had then found him lying on the sidewalk near his car. I thought something sounded a bit weird about that. :lol:

Why would Tiger be driving away so quickly at such a late hour? From what I've heard, he wasn't drunk. It actually makes more sense that his wife found something on his phone or whatever and chased him out of the house with a golf club.

Woods receives one ticket; FHP closes case
During a very brief press conference this afternoon, Florida Highway Patrol has charged Tiger Woods with careless driving and will issue him with one uniform traffic citation.
The fine will be no greater than $164. Four points will get assessed against Woods' driving record. With this citation, the FHP has completed its investigation. Spokeswomen of the FHP added that no evidence of domestic abuse or blood was or has been provided. No questions were taken. Dec. 1 - 3:03 pm et
