Diggs/Snead for David Johnson?

For team 3 below which is strong on WR but weaker on RB...

I give:
WR Stefon Diggs MIN
WR Willie Snead NOS

I receive:
RB David Johnson ARI

Am I giving up on Diggs/Snead too early? I see them both as career WR2/3. D Johnson has looked good so far but his resume is not long. Is this too much or not enough for David Johnson? Thanks!

Not enough in my opinion you're going to need to pay up big to acquire Johnson right now

I don't think it's close. DJohnson might not have a long resume but neither do either of those players. It'll probably take something you don't want to give up while DJ's on fire.

If you can get Johnson for that, of whom I'm not THAT big a fan of, I say do it.

Regardless of his price being inflated right now, I have a feeling it will be higher come 2016 before the season - at which point you could get Diggs++

Exactly, the Johnson hype is so crazy right now it's ridiculous...and its only gonna get even bigger before the season starts

Give the Johnson owner a bunch of choices and let him pick two of those younger guys . The WR you have won't get a chance to crack the line up and will free up a roster spot. If you think DJ will be the man go get him while you can.

Got to love these all star leagues. Being a 10 team league and given your very shallow starting requirements this is not nearly enough for DJ. DJ has RB1 potential while Snead and Diggs are marginal WR3s who have no value to your team.

I would need a whole lot more than that for DJ. People say DJ is overhyped, yet disregard the overhype that is Diggs. He's a solid WR3 prospect and that's about it. Snead has even more risk (see Kenny Stills 2014). DJ may be overhyped, but his production and future projection is greater as a RB1 than two WR prospects who slot in as WR3's IMO...and I like Diggs (but am realistic).

Agree with the analysis on Diggs and Snead. I like Diggs a little more than Snead, but both seem to have WR2 upside with WR3 being a more realistic outcome. They also aren't worth much to you in a 10 team league. Disregarding the hype around Johnson, he's a healthy back who will likely lead in carries for a potent offense. Johnson easily here for me

DJ by a long shot for now. If either Diggs or Snead truly emerge next year this could be a different conversation.
