Different charges but Zeke was disciplined by the league without a guilty verdict. So the precedent is there abs Goodell is judge, jury, and executionor.

Do we have some data of players being disciplined for a DUI? Not being glib, I just don't remember it.

Nice flag plant. I always thought Monty looked good, just doesn't quite have the burst to punish defenses. He and Jacobs seem like very similar players.

The Bears would be wise to make more use of Montgomery's receiving ability next year. He has good hands, vision, and awareness to use his blockers.
I know Cohen will be back.

Dak got nothing for his DUI. Lagarette Blount got 1 game and Bell got 2 for DUI. Theres tons of examples from nothing to 6 games. Random roll of the dice on what happens. Players get convicted and get nothing others are aquitted or no charges ever pressed and get 6 games.

It was pot but the charge was still DUI. You are right pot was often reacted heavily on but still only a game or 2. Nothing to worry much about. Dak has had no character issues since his DUI Bell clearly has. Basically random is random nothing to see here. Now when it gets to Edwards, Blount or AB levels. Run far , run fast.

So the Raiders signed Drake to ensure Jacobs' numbers improve from a down 2020 and to keep him fresh, right?

I have no idea why the Raiders guaranteed Kenyan Drake $11M when they could've spent considerably less for someone to be an RB2. This does limit Jacobs upside in PPR. Can't imagine he's going to play much on 3rd down now with Drake there.

If I was in a startup draft right now, I would take Montgomery before Jacobs.

I would be hopeful I didn't have to choose either. But it's closer to 50/50 for me now. I was much higher on jacobs than Monty before.
