Houston in play as well. I would like this as a Nuk owner, as he's a legit threat to keep teams honest, but as a Cobb owner I can imagine this is not an ideal destination.

and San Diego, too? they won't be able to afford him but i think that's one of the few places where he could keep a reasonable portion of his value.

Cobb stays in Green Bay per Adam Shefter

Postby VinceB128 » Sat Mar 07, 2015 8:25 pm

I would have liked him anywhere he went, but as a Cobb owner in multiple leagues, I'm glad he stayed in Green Bay.

$10 million always seemed like a smart, middle ground. I'm sure Rodgers is happy.

Yeah, how's that guy looking now who traded Adams straight up for Jamaal Charles?! Winner! I still like Adams and think he has a bright future, but this definitely hurts his value for now.

He got 6-7 offers and turned down an extra 1.5M per year to stay with GB

Man I'm happy. I own him everywhere. I'll admit I was losing confidence in him returning, but I'm glad it happened. Made sense for both sides.

Just like everything in fantasy, we're making educated guesses based off of the little information we have and hoping to get lucky., but man am I glad I hedged my bets on him returning.

You mean the stock that had people convinced he was worth more than the 1.1? Was going straight up for Charles? Bloody ridiculous!

Smart move for both sides I say. Cobb lost a little money (relatively speaking) but will keep producing at a really high level. Thompson keeps his high-powered offense intact.
