It was a low and away fast ball. Tough catch, regardless, it was not converted. It was a terrible decision given the context of the game at the time. The 49ers weren't doing anything, the game was all Lions, he had the opportunity to match the 3 the 49ers just put up, and deflate the stadium again. He amped the opponent and their crowd up by not converting.

He just refused to take the opportunity to get points again.

I do like the aggressiveness Campbell rolls with. But man, it's getting late in the 4th quarter and I don't know why you don't want to just tie the game at that point. Really looks like Detroit is going to lose, and it will be very interesting to listen to the fallout from this one.

Idk, everything appeared to be great except the execution by the receiver . Why not blame the receiver instead of the coach. The throw was right on his hands. The dropped int was not on the coach, the fumble by Gibbs was not on the coach. You ppl just have some strange need to bitch and moan

I've explained why I'm blaming the coach. Anyways, they Lions are toast.

Purdy still won't get any credit.

It was 24-7. Now 34-24.

I hope CMC is OK for the Super Bowl. He's looking rough right now.

Gonna be tough to convince folks that the 51 yard completion “to” Aiyuk was an intentional trick play. Purdy has been surprisingly good with his legs in the second half though.

Yep. But that's been the only luck he's had all game. He showed up big in the second half and made plays when needed.

What about the prayer that Jauan Jennings managed to pull down and hold onto on a critical third down?

Wow. Campbell has made a season’s worth of coaching mistakes in a single half of football.

Forgot about that one.

Either way, Purdy should get a lot of credit for the comeback. This was not a system win by any means.
