Whenever the guy who beat his pregnant girlfriend and child loses I’m happy...though I’d definitely do a wellness check on his family tonight if he is coming home in a bad mood.

KC got some bad calls against them that put the game nearly out of reach. That one phony call when it would have been an interception changed the entire game imo. That said, the Bucs outplayed and out-coached the Chiefs regardless. So probably didn't change the end result, but we might have gotten a more interesting game if it weren't for those first half ref blunders.

What? I don’t like Tyreek Hill. He’s a terrible human and I’d prefer for his team not to win. Since the allegations came out against Ben I’ve stopped being a Steelers fan until he’s gone. Sorry? 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was tough to see in real time so I understand the call. But Breeland ran into Evan’s foot, then fell and took Evans down while falling (also presumably incidental)

I wanted to make sure I wasn’t spewing nonsense, so I tried to find a video. Here it is slowed down:

https://twitter.com/jeffroswick/status/ ... 57251?s=21
gotcha, even still based on that video, it doesn't look like that's what caused Evans to fall, Evans appeared to stay upright until Breeland fell and hit his legs again, that being the case I don't have an issue with the call, incidental or not PI is PI
Ball wasn’t catchable regardless.
Im not gonna argue that it wouldn't have been an outstanding catch, but I wouldn't call it uncatchable. Mike Evans has pretty good reach and could have definitely gone to the ground with that ball if he was able to keep his momentum. Too close and subjective for refs to call that uncatchable.

DK sure but imagine watching this game and thinking CEH with his over 7 YPC was the problem

It wasn’t the problem tonight. He’s still been considerably worse than those two, and Dobbins this year. Waste of a first round pick.

Andy Reid was criticized for the bulk of his career for ignoring the run game and going pass heavy in big games. To me this was him reverting back to his old ways. Doesn't matter who the RB is if you don't hand the ball off.

The Bucs exposed the biggest flaw in this Chiefs offense. They struggle to just take what the defenses gives and check down or just run the ball. They don't want to have these long methodical drives on offense whereas Brady was happy to take whatever the defense gave them.

Its easy to chalk it up as a bad night, and it was, but every team just got film on how to slow down this Chiefs offense. Much like the Pats did to McVay and the Rams, the Titans to the Ravens, etc. It took those other 2 teams a little while to counter so im interested to see what the Chiefs do next season.

The Chiefs have taken what the defense gives in most cases. The regular season matchup against the Bills they ran a TON when the Bills sold out to stop the medium & deep pass game. That was CEH's best game.

I think yesterday was about the depleted offensive line and choosing to take your chances with Mahomes vs taking the ball out of his hands and running more, and being in a multiple score deficit.

There were definitely a few really opportune calls in favour of the bucs (namely the PI to negate the interception, and the PI in the endzone), but the Bucs just had KC's number yesterday. I truly dont think that KC would have been any better off had they ran more/used more screens, the Buc's Dline just dominated the game from beginning to end and there likely wouldnt have been anywhere for CEH to go anyways. But holy Mahomes is without a doubt the best QB I have ever seen play... Mahomes in the 2000-2018 Patriots would have demolished the Tom Brady 2000-2018 Patriots IMO.

What a beatdown. Nobody expected that. Mahomes had some flashy throws but really wasn't great. Can't put the blame on him though when his line was bad, Kelce was bad, receivers were bad, Bucs offense was gashing yards... Unbelievably one sided.

Happy for Brady and the band of castoffs that get their first ring. This is gonna be a long offseason for Chiefs fans, but this is what makes the wins sweeter.

The hate for CEH is approaching comical status. It's like children being mad because they didn't get their way. CEH was easily the 2nd most productive player last night on the Chiefs without the critical drop like their best player last night.

Obviously the banged up Chief's O-line was Swiss cheese with Mahomes under more pressure than any QB in SB History so complaining about a player that averaged 7.1 rushing on his 9 carries and contributed 87 total yards sounds ridiculous.

CEH didn't create the game plan and KC's coaching was a bit arrogant in not running way more often against a cover 2 shell defensive concept; CEH actually was one of the only bright spots on the Chiefs last night.

Agree!
Total domination in the trenches on both sides of the ball by the Bucs!
