Well today we finally get to see where he lands - have seen him mocked as high as 4 - but personally I think Chase, Sewell & 4 QBs will still go ahead of him so figure the 7-10 range will be his likely landing spot. But we'll see - at least it is Draft Day! :)

I don't think he goes later than 6 to Miami.

Perhaps - but I think they are open to moving down again - if a team wants to move up at their price that is. And there are Chase to Miami potentials as well. We'll soon see either way!

I think it's a good spot. Hurst is no threat to him. Ryan loved Gonzo when he had him.

Looking at the way the draft shaped up..... it was probably the best landing spot possible by far. All of the pass catchers that went after Pitts/Chase landed in far more uncertain spots.

I think Ridley is the biggest winner from Pitts being drafted to ATL. Having to worry about two huge bodies running through the middle of the field with Julio and Pitts and that leaves Ridley free to run over the top. The dirty bird offense could be back in full swing.

If you told me I'd be drafting Pitts at the 1.05 in SF TE Premium (2ppr) leagues I'd have called you crazy.. but here we are.

Really hope this wasn't a hype driven pick.

He may not be there for you. If he is, TAKE HIM.

LOL oh sorry, misunderstood that. I love the pick there. I have #7 and #8 in two league, the #8 Superflex, and I don't know if I'll get any shares without moving up.

How high of a pick do you all think Pitts is worth in a 1qb league with a TE slot but no TE premium? I’ve got 1.3, 1.5, 1.6 and thinking about taking him at 5 or 6.

See who goes #1 and #2. I think it'll be Chase and Najee. If so, take Pitts at #3. If either of them is there, take them. With #5 and #6 you'll get probably a RB or two, or Devonta, could take Lawrence there, if you love him.

You don't want to miss Pitts by getting snaked at #4. My two cents.

I'm holding #5 right now and am certainly confident that he will be there for me. I'm pretty sure the first 4 picks will be the 3 RBs + Chase.
One other owner told me he wanted to trade up to #4 just to f with me because he knows I really really want Pitts, but nobody will be willing the "RB-Premium"-price for the top 4 picks, just to pick a TE, so i am pretty safe I guess.

Also I hold pick #9 and I really llike that spot. I could see Smith or Waddle fall to me. Teams in front of me are really RB needy and that could push Sermon up. Also I could see Lawrence and Lance being taken. For me there is 3 scenarios:
I get a WR
I get the best QB of the class (really need a backup)
Sermon is there at #9 and I can sell the pick to one of the RB needy teams in the teens.

Honestly, I'd look at the roster of the guy who owns the 1.04, and then decide what to do. It's still possible he trades out, if you take Chase/RB he wants instead, I probably would, but at the same time, there is MASSIVE volatility to his stock right now and it's basically impossible to nail down where he's gonna go. In 1QB some would take him at 1.01, others think that's insane and would only take him 1.04-1.05 (which seems to be his ADP), and others think if he's valued there, just trade for Kittle+ or Kelce+ and let someone else take on the risk of Pitts failing to deliver in the same way every other TE has failed who was taken inside the top 10 (not including in line blockers who the Jets were notorious for taking inside the top 10-15) the most recent TE's that carried that much hype that I can remember would be KWII in '04 (now in prison), and Shockey in '02. Neither Gronk nor the deceased Hernandez carried anywhere near this much hype in '10 (was it '10?).

I've had the hardest time trying to figure out whether to take him or not with picks I have in the 1.03-1.06 zone (I have at least a half dozen picks there amongst my 15 leagues), but I'm leaning away from him. I'd rather trade out if the hype keeps growing rather than take him, but I also need to be comfortable at TE, and my TE position tends to be either stocked with Hockenson/Fant/Goedert, or with a grab bag of super cheap upside plays (Trautman, Everett, Harrison Bryant etc and now long lost hopes like Oliver, and Warring who are edging towards pipe dream status, especially Oliver).
