Leonard Fournette was active for 3 games for the Bucs. In those three games Jones posted 9.20, 9.70, 8.30 fantasy points (0.5 ppr). In the three games with Fournette out of the lineup, he has 15.80, 14.00, 25.10 fantasy points. The difference between Ronald Jones with and without Fournette is ~RB30 and ~RB10.

Will he once again fall back to ~10 points per game when Fournette comes back? Would you feel comfortable as an owner starting him the very day that Fournette returns to the lineup? What will all this look like when the season ends and 2021 is around the corner?

By the way: Andre Ellington, who is the Bucs #3 and came into the game only a few plays later, looked 10x better than this kid. Ellington was drafted by Arians and played all 4 years that Arians was the head coach in Arizona. If you're looking for a proper backup to Barber, and maybe even someone who takes over starting duties in Tampa Bay, I'd rather put my money on Ellington.

Yep, and highly doubtful Fournette is back next year. RJ taking the GL hand offs. RJ may not be 1600 yard rusher (like his previous 3 week pace), but he's still the top back in this offense at this point, and 23 years old. Very few top 5 backs. (5, I think). Jones is going to be relevant for a few years, at this point, and that's not a bad thing in the RB landscape.

I'd say more game script dependant, but they still intend Rojo as the 1. Just like the game vs Carolina, before they went back to Jones. Fournette has mildly better skills as a pass catcher, and he's just not a good runner at this stage, provided he can get that LSU laneway play, where he can get up to that long speed. He's not elusive at all. Into 2021, if Jones is still doing what he has right now, and continues to improve, I expect him to be a big part of this offense. Can't imagine Fournette will be back. Rojo was huge while Brady was struggling vs the Bears, or it would have been a complete disaster.

All honesty though... I thought after the fumbles and everything RoJo does poorly that LF would have runaway with the job. Turns out LF can't really run away from anyone. RoJo gives them some nice runs and now that the passing offense is legit, RoJo seems like the superior ground game option. LF the better pass catcher, but I'm not sure how much TB will be throwing to the RBs

In RoJos defense, it was a few more than just the historic one 98 yard TD run.

lol its one of my fav things to check on this forum, anytime a player has a bad game *thread gets bumped* good game *bumped*. It's not just this thread though, its everywhere, you can even see either side go quiet for a few weeks till its their turn to gloat.
