I just saw that. Interestingly, sports radio jocks in NC are saying there is still a chance Dalton plays. Most people I've talked to want Dalton to get another start and for Bryce to watch another game.

Why? Bryce is not ready to play at NFL level and to continue to start him under those conditions could wreck his psyche and end his career before he has any chance to develop. He’s already highly suspect whether he can right himself given his performance so far.

Would it be crazy to start Love tonight against the Lions in favor of Lamar against the Browns? 6 pt passing TDs

On the one hand, the Browns are giving up 6 PPG and Love is supposedly getting Watson and Jones back...on the other hand TNF isn't exactly known for fantasy points.

Very TD heavy so far. Not getting many looks but Everett is out this week so he may do well in the short term

He's got to be up there for highest percentage of points from TDs (66%). I'm not trusting a guy averaging under 3 targets per game.

(Also Kelce missed a game, and isn't too far behind Hockenson for TE1 in PPG)

Starting against Minnesota is exactly what you want a rookie QB doing. That defense is horrid and is a good get right game for Bryce. If it's not now he may as well sit the rest of the season. Granted, I'm not a big believer in the sit and learn plan either. That worked for the Packers, but I think it's one of those things you need to have a top end QB to learn from...not Andy Dalton. Otherwise you are just delaying the inevitable.

He had arguably the worst offensive line play in the league in his first two games against two more than capable defenses, who are both Top 7 in points against right now.

The Panthers season is purely about Young's development. Watching Dalton play isn't going to be meaningful.
