Can't really see much of what happened on footage of the play, but he left the arena in a walking boot. No clue yet how serious that makes it, but certainly concerning.

The Raiders are now 3-0 in the pre-season, which as far as I can tell has not happened in over 30 years. Not that it means much in the greater scheme of things - just interesting to note.

In 1973, the New York Giants went 6-0 in preseason games, then went 2-11-1 in the regular season. Don’t think anything can be learned from a team’s preseason record.

Didn't the Lions go 4-0 in the preseason when they went 0-16?
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

That is correct, as did the Browns in their 0-16 season.

I saw a study a few years back that showed preseason has no predictive properties as far as regular season record goes. Huge chunks of games being played by back end roster types. It’s practice.

I was at the Fins games last night...a few observations.

Not sure if they were scared to let Fitz loose, but they were feeding the ball to Ballage. He got a bunch of carries and targets all first half.

I saw an effort to get Geiski involved he had one nice catch. I’m thinking at least 4 or 5 targets which is nice.

As another poster mentioned, Rosen looked solid against the 2’s. He scrambled, a sweet sideline throw and definitely brought a good energy to the offense.

Mark Walton is going make this team. He was featured in special teams, caught a few passes and ran as well. They got a good look at him. He even threw up the |__| for the hurricane fans when he scored.

Westbrook will be a high WR2 this year. They were loving him in the first half. Fournette was whatever, I was excited to see and was him he break something loose.

What about Isiah Ford?
I know he is waiver fodder for the most, but wouldn't mind taking a long shot with him

Yeah I am fully aware it usually has little translation to the regular season - I am sure for every Super Bowl Champion there are an equal # of times they had good & bad pre-season - just interesting to note that usually the Raiders tend to lose a lot in the pre-season, and this year for whatever reason they're not.

I like all this positive news for Rosen, really routing for the guy. For what ever reason he has seemed to get a bad wrap since being drafted for Arizona.

Ballage looks like he runs with his eyes closed. It works well because sometimes he surprises himself and actually hits a hole.

Right on, and soon we'll be seeing less of these low-quality preseason games and more of these shared team practices more teams are preferring, especially for starter snaps.

When even preseason week #3 now sucks, it's time to try broadcasting something new.
