Worse trade I made and still regret to this day.
I gave David Johnson, Malcolm Floyd, Allen Hurns
Received Jonathan Stewart, Willie Snead.
I selected DJ after everyone on my list was taken and did not have much research done on him.

If i didnt make this trade would have Bell, DJ, Gordon, as starting RB's.

Drafted Kareem Hunt at 1.07 (in a league not in sig), then "sold high" on him for Gurley.

Then I panicked on Gurley after seeing him struggle on the ground, and sold him for Shady.

Then I sold Shady for Ajayi.

So I lost Kareem Hunt and have Ajayi...

I have a contender - directly after our startup draft:

Traded: David Johnson + Donte Moncrief

Received: Tre Mason (starter at the time)

Lots of mistakes along the way. In no particular order:

1. I THINK i missed out on L. Bell (certainly Gio) by trading back and getting McFadden and drafting C. Michael!
2. I traded DT straight up for Kendall Hunter a few days before Peyton signed with the Broncos and took DT to 90+ catches a year.
3. Traded the 1.10 (Turned out to be Stafford) for Hightower and Leinart.
4: Traded a future 1st (not mine, ended up being 1.02) for Jamaal Charles (injured a lot since then) and the other guy got Amari Cooper.
I'm sure there are a dozen more.

The previous owner of my team once traded their future (2008) 1st rounder (ended up being #4) and received Rueben Droughns. I would have taken Chris Johnson who went at #5.

Not a trade, but I dropped Alex Smith this offseason as he was just a medicore bye-week fill in, and I needed to load up on crap-shoot WR's who I have no intention of ever playing... and am now a QB away from having a decent shout this year.

Going into last season my team was coming off a championship with plenty of assets to move. I wanted a younger, high upside TE and was in love with Rawls. The trade ended up being Eifert and Rawls for Jordan Reed and what ended up being the 1.01 (Fournette). Of course this deal was made with my biggest rival as well. :wall:

Last offseason I traded Marvin Jones and a 1st that ended up being 1.01 (Corey Davis) for Eddie Lacy...

That pick had offers like 3 future 1sts pre-draft - and I dropped Eddie Lacy this year around week 2.

In an auction keeper league I offered someone OBJ (who is still a good keeper to this day with price increases) for Brandon Oliver (Hakeem Nicks just got hurt and OBJ and Oliver both just had a couple blow-up games). The other owner infamously said "Nah I think Rueben Randle is the guy in New York now". RIP.

Been kicking myself recently for turning down a late 1st for Snead during the draft this year. Snead was really hyped up this offseason before the suspension not sure what happened there? Probably would have grabbed Hunt, Engram or O.J.

Traded LeVeon Bell (had just taken him 1.04 in a rookie draft), Lamar Miller and following years 1st (ended up being 1.05 - Brandin Cooks)

Received Trent Richardson

I was going to ride TRich and Martin to at least a few titles over the next decade after their hot rookie season.
you win.
almost sounds made-up. Jesus.

I've made some pretty bad trades myself.

The bad:
In order to get under the cap this year, and as owner of THE most expensive player - Odell at $66 of $200 cap - I had to move Odell or cut him outright. Everyone knew this. So I ended up trading Odell and a high second for Jordy Nelson, Chris Hogan, and Larry Fitz... mind you this was before Jordy lost Rogers, before Hogan got hurt, and before Fitz lost Palmer. Not only was the trade bad, all 3 players took a hit.

The steal:
In a single QB league with guys like Wentz on the waiver wire (last offseason) I traded Matt Ryan and Rob Kelly for 1.02 overall in this years draft. That netted me Corey Davis. This happened in person on draft day. It was our first rookie draft and the guy knew nothing about the value of the first 4-5 picks. I literally handed him my phone and asked him what he wants, and those are the two guys he picked up. Mind you, I had the depth of Brees and Carr. Maybe the Odell trade was karma for this one.

Startup League. This one likely cost me the championship and total domination of this league forever. This was done in early June.

Gave: Kamara, Jamal Williams, 2018 3 (picked them at 1.10 and 2.6 in rookie draft)
Got: Cousins, Fat Rob, 2018 1 and 2 (ended up 1.12/2.12)

I didn’t need any of the players I received and was really just looking to get more picks for 2018 as I wasn’t planning to compete and very tight on roster space. In startup I drafted almost all the rookie picks. I ended up in playoffs and still am setup with 6 firsts for next year included 1.2,1.3,1.6 and have Mixon, McCaffrey, Cook, Davis, Tyreek, Juju, Wentz, Dak, OJ but man what could have been.

Close second in same league in June:

Traded 1.11 (would have drafted Hunt) for Tevin Coleman.
