Fair price if he becomes an immediate starter for your team. He’s pretty boom/bust… but right range for a projected late 1st/2nd.

Definitely. This pushes Ridley/Diontae combo into flex/bye week conversation instead of WR3. WR3 was my biggest goal to address this offseason. I’d been exploring some the older vets off and on the last month or so. A lot of them are on other contending teams, so wasn’t having a ton of luck. Metcalf got put on the block a few days ago…I made an offer, and this was the counter. I feel pretty good about it right now, but I definitely understand the boom/bust you mention!

Trade calc says that for this to be even Rice would have to be valued at 1.04/1.05… and he’s currently a late 1st (meaning you paid quite high prices).

If you really believe in Rice and were fine stepping away from Caleb/MHJr then glad you got your guy, but the trade calcs say you didn’t get enough back.

To me the 1.01 is such a premium pick I would have needed more back.

Inspired me to move 3.14, 4.14 and 25 2nd for Rashad White in same league (team #3 in signature where I'm back to back defending champion).

Admittedly not a huge white fan but when talking about the 3.14, 4.14 and a most likely late 2025 2nd I think I'll make this move even if TB adds another RB.
