He's not a great pass catcher, Carter is much better, and Izzy isn't ready to be on an NFL field early like Gibbs.
Does provide similar speed.
I mean, Breece and Gibbs were in the 4.3's, Izzy wasn't. Izzy is a backup, there's no other way to shake it. Taking a guy in round 1 vs round 5 is a world of difference. I had a feeling this might happen with Izzy, he's not a very nuanced back. Needs a lane. If he gets one, he's gone for a big play, but he's discount Tevin Coleman, IMO.
Agree about needing a lane. The thing that drove me crazy with Coleman was a lack of patience behind the line, sometimes running into his own teammates. I think the landing spot should force a full assessment of Abanikanda, even if only as a short term play. It's easy to be pessimistic that he landed behind a (perceived) "stud" RB, but I'm not convinced Hall is fully ready week 1 and so it becomes a question of who takes the primary role until he is. Perhaps it's Knight.

Definitely could see his dynasty value getting sorted out quickly- shape up or ship out.

Curious any similarities between LSU's pre-Kelly offense and Bill O'Brien's.

I think this is where 40 times as a judge of speed can be misleading. Hall likely has better 10- & 20-yard splits, but Izzy has better long speed. Watching his tape (& Gibbs for that matter) they are always pulling away from defenders rather than just beating them to the end zone.

Damien Harris is looking good for this year. Bills have added nothing to compete with him, he has the early down role as it stands right now, IMO.

The biggest winner of the draft so far might be Tony Pollard owners. Really surprised that the Cowboys didn't take a RB. Maybe they resign Zeke for league minimum.

Agreed. I’m guessing it’s gonna be a set in stone top 5. JSN normally 6. Then who knows.

You must be crazy high on Swift to think he'd have been any sort of impediment.
