The Eagles have completely ignored him in the first half of games since the bye and he looks like a completely different guy now, like his confidence has been wrecked . . . feel like those things are probably connected.

I dont think anyone can deny that the offense has been gutted all season long. Wentz has lost his WRs, TEs, RBs, and OLine. Is he a great QB? Hell no. A great QB wouldn't look this bad, but I do think he is a decent to good QB. I think he either needs a new team, or he needs a healthy Oline and New Coach.

As for Fulgham, he benefitted from the lack of competition for targets. He did look like he had good body control when he was "the guy" but he also looked like his routes were off and sometimes he looked a little stiff. I think the time to sell him was after or just before the game against the Cowboys. If you can get anything for him now I think you should get it.

Regarding wentz, Remember when everyone thought Carr sucked? This is like that.

As for Fulgham, he looked like a solid player. Not really sure what went wrong.

His week was that bad that we are talking about him in past tense now?

See also Cousins, Kirk.

Wentz I think is proving that he doesn't have truly transcendent, put an organisation on his shoulders type talent but he is in the tier of guys in the middle. If you protect him well enough and get him some help he can be very productive. He's Carr, Cousins, Ryan etc etc.

I'm not saying there aren't better and worse guys in that group but he fits in that clump as guys you can win with if you set them up for success.

He's fallen off a cliff, whether it's his fault or wentz. It's too bad, he looked great for a few weeks.

The eagles have trouble in the future. They are up against the cap in 2021 in a bad way and really no chance they retain Jeffrey or Djax. There should be plenty of opportunity for Fulgham if he can get back on track.

In jest - Can I get that weekly Fulgham vs Evans trade update?

Traded him away two weeks ago after his first bad game for Harrison Bryant. Im happy. Id Rather take the risk on a developmental TE since that position is a pain then hold onto an easily replaceable WR2 that you can find anywhere now a days.

I traded him about an hour before Sunday kickoff for Salvon Ahmed and I’m happy with it, but that probably speaks more to the sad state of my RB corps than any long-term judgement on Fulgham.

Update: I am still 💯 behind the idea that Evans won't be a WR1 again, but it looks like my Fulgham gamble whiffed. He had 7 targets (Fulgham), but like 1 or 2 were quality. Wentz has been astoundingly frustrating to watch (except as a Cowboys fan, I love it). As someone else pointed out, Jeffrey and Jackson are probably gone, so he still will have plenty of opportunity this year and through the off-season. As bad as one catch for eight yards is, leading the team in targets again is good. The whole team is out of whack on offense, so I'd like to see a good offensive performance that doesn't feature him before I write him off.

The 2nd was on the wrong side! Truthfully, I'd have taken a 2nd for Fulgham alone and run

Honestly watching Alshon out there and Djax not out there I don't think the team misses a beat if they leave haha. I'd hold Fulgham as I think next year him and Reagor make a good 1-2 punch once they get a healthy Oline and Carson sees a psychologist about the ghosts he's seeing
