Sounds like plenty of time to make sure the bourbon glass isn’t empty.

My daughters have already painted my toenails, and my pinkies on both hands. I'll take the shots though.

No shot from me. I find the whole thing silly in 2024

Agreed. I only did shots back when I couldn't afford anything worth tasting.

Is nobody concerned about BUF and Allen with his WR options? I assume they go WR with their next pick. I'm hearing Mitchell. Allen owners, thoughts?

I was listening to a podcast yesterday cuz like most of us I was super not motivated to do anything not related to the draft lol but I was hearing from both Dwain McFarland and JJ Zachariason that AD is on their do not draft lists. They were going over how WR"s and RB's faire dint heir respective models. They were citing his PFF data, I think it was something like yds per RR or aDot or something like that would be by far the worst in PFF charted history IF he had gone round 1 like we thought he would. They were saying he's pretty much an extreme outlier even before he is on a team or steps onto the field. Which stinks because throughout the predraft process I like AD, who doesn't like a dude with that size running a 4.3 40? But I think there's more than meets the eye here. Of course I am not a professional evaluator but the data I was hearing was alarming to say the least.

There were for sure some red flags on Mitchell. But it's a mixed bag. So can a guy like Allen make him shine?

1.7% drop rate, that's good
4.34 40, good time
9.98 RAS very good
YPRR/TPRR 1.72/17.5 big red flag

So maybe it's McConkey here, maybe I got that backwards.

I don't have girls or kids for that matter. Been painting my toenails for like 15 years. Not all the time, but not infrequent either. Runners/cyclists get bad looking nails from wear. Started off painting them black. Then it's like, let's liven this up a bit.

The whole hubbub about less than a few ounces of paint is bananas.

I'm not an Allen owner but I like surprises so lets see if they trade pick 33 plus some other stuff and acquire Deebo to shore up their receiver room, still time before the draft!

Thoughts on Rattler? I took a flier on him at 3.11 in a Superflex. I wasn't BIG on him before the draft, but after he landed in NOS the rumblings about him taking over for Carr started to pop up. Anyone like him?

Spencer Rattler selected No. 150 by New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints have selected QB Spencer Rattler with the No. 150 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact

Rattler marks the first QB taken in the 2024 NFL Draft since the first round, and he goes into a room with QBs Derek Carr and 2023 fourth-rounder Jake Haener. The former South Carolina and Oklahoma passer has a notable arm but often displayed a tendency to be overconfident in his ability on the field. He has a chance to develop into a solid QB — showing NFL promise in college — but he may need some time and will have to fight for the reps to do so.

Carr will be there for 2 more years unless they want to eat a ton of dead cap. They will likely draft his replacement at that point.

Rattler has a very, very low chance of being a starter.

Ah bummer. Was hoping that late in Superflex he might be a serviceable starting QB at some point. Well, that late in the draft, essentially the 4th round, I guess you take the shot. Appreciate the honesty.

Where do we stand on Downs? I thought he didn't hit the threshold in that WR thread (can't find that). A guy is offering the 3.03 for him, and I think I drafted Downs late in the 3rd last year. Trying to see if he's worth more than the 3.03 where I'm targeting a TE in a TEP league. Sanders is who I'm after. KTC has Downs valued as a 24 2.09 pick.

So, Downs vs Sanders is the call here, in TEP.
