Sauce held too. You can actually look up the rule and it's clear you can't get under the shoulder pad. I've watched this like 7 times and his arms are clearly around him

yeah i shouldn't have used the quotation marks on holding, it wasn't egregious but still. it was just to know what the complaint was about.

Agreed. His back shoulder throws were on point the entire second half. The anticipation was great and he was feeling the pocket well. If it wasn't for that devastating botched snap they might have pulled it off. I'd still would have liked to see him sit behind Rodgers for two years.

I know the drafting Chase vs the OL meme is now legendary to make fun of, but to me, it's still a bit relevant. I'm personally starting to get some Andrew Luck vibes with Burrow. He's been battered since he entered the league, and he's a bit slight in build. All these hits are going to add up. He had the major knee injury, he's got the calf, he's feeling pain in his throwing arm today, etc. They should seriously consider shutting him down for a bit, but due to being 1-3, they likely won't. I worry about his long term health, the way this team wants to throw but has no way of protecting him.

I have no shares of Burrow, and would not draft him in start-ups or want him in a trade. I've gotten the same feeling as you since halfway through his second season. When he's hitting on all cylinders, he's great. But I keep feeling concerned about his long-term health.

I guess there's nothing definitive to point to, but my spidey-sense is screaming he's going to have a body-breakdown of some sort. I'd be more than happy to roster (supposedly) lesser QBs like TLaw, Tua and Stroud, instead of Burrow.

Tua? really? Yeah he is a picture of health lmao. T law right now blows chunks and will he ever make the leap to elite becoming more and more questionable. The rookie is playing better than 275 million man lol.

Not all football players have had 2 massive, very publicized concussions in back to back weeks like Tua has. That 2nd one he had last year was terrifying. I know all football players have definitely had head trauma, but I don't think they've all been knocked into the fencing response. On the flip side - all football players deal with minor to major injuries every season, not just Burrow.
