Mckinnon was my 4th round pick strictly as an AP handcuff. Man was that a great pick. That's why when trading I always have someone throw in a late pick. I like the cheap lottery tickets.

Another game, another good performance for McKinnon. 16/83 with a 20+ yard run. I still don't know why he doesn't get more catches in space, looks like they use Asiata as a pass catching RB. The touchdowns should come, he has 392 yards on the ground with no TD's. He still could be a buy low, imagine if he had 4 or 5 TD's...

Watched a lot of this game. He was patient, well-balanced, broke a couple tackles for extra yardage. Not as explosive as previous games but he was encountered early most runs, and found a way to gain positive yardage.

Unfortunately, he's not getting feature back quantity touches and Teddy still prefers to throw outside rather than his check downs. Hoping his pass catching touches improve.

Yeah, I think its only a matter of time that he starts getting involved in the pass game, ... I didn't see him in the 4th, wonder if he tweaked something..

And yes, don't forget the Bucs have LB David, he really makes a difference in the run game.

With Asiata out and B.Tate new we should see a lot of McKinnon vs a susceptible run defense. McKinnon I still averaging 4.9ypc. The Tate signing puts a end to the Peterson worries IMO. Buy "low" on McKinnon if you can before this weekend.

Think the game flow vs. GB would not really be good for McKinnon this week .. even if the Pack's D isn't very good vs. the run, the Vikes should fall behind quite a bit on the score board..

But I agree on buying low :)

That's what I'm thinking too. The Vikings could be forced to turn to the pass early on.

Ya, vikes should be blown out, but with Asiata out and Tate brand new, Mckinnon should get 90% of snaps. Maybe ok in PPR? I guess it depends on your options. I have to decide between him, GTate vs. Revis, or Vereen, pick 2.

As seen on Rotoworld: "The lower back injury that ended Jerick McKinnon's rookie year in early December required surgery."

Low back surgery? That's a bigger injury that I thought for young Jerick McKinnon. His back will always be at least a minor issue from now on. I'm more worried about his durability quite a bit more than before I read this. Anyone else getting nervous?

They were probably going to draft an RB anyway
