I mean...I kinda liked Gaskin. I wasn't confident he'd be an Ekeler, but Miami seemed to want to use him and he looked like he had the talent to produce in that role.

He had a great opportunity last year and ran with it. I thought they'd use him more this year but was always trying to sell him high. No one wanted to bite though so now he's bye week filler for me. Could be worse I guess

The podfather was saying Gaskin was like Austin Ekeler, hope nobody listened to him, his off season ranking of Gaskin was ridiculously high considering the current reality.
I usually do the opposite of what that guy says. Playerprofiler is a great resource and I like some of the co hosts he has, but he's just over the top for no reason
Not for no reason, for clicks

Davis had decent volume to start the season, but didn't do a whole lot with it.

Volume rules, but at some point middling RBs are simply just that.

Is this a list Josh Jacobs belongs on? Is there volume even there still? I still see him getting close to 20 touches a week.

Patterson pretty much stole the show.

Perfectly stated

Falcons released RB Mike Davis.
Davis had been a journeyman runner before he flashed starting ability as a fill-in for Christian McCaffrey in 2020. The Falcons brought him in on a two-year deal to serve as their starter, but he never recaptured his peak Carolina form and was ultimately surpassed by Cordarrelle Patterson on the depth chart.

Wonder where he'll end up muddying up another backfield.

I remember hoping he would have some short term value as placeholder starting RB. Sadly he was 100% dependent on line play.

He may catch on somewhere but he is about done most likely.

He's no Cordarrelle Patterson.

RBs like Davis and Gaskin continue to be the easiest of sells.

Remember that time I sold Cordarelle Patterson for a 2023 2nd at last years trade deadline and everyone thought I was an idiot?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Tyler Allgeier has begun his ascent on KTC today. He's arguably got an even easier path to 250 touches than Kenneth Walker.
