Jalen Tolbert channeling his inner Leon Lett.

It feels like yesterday when he was being drafted to be the Cowboys #2 WR. Now…he is closer to being unemployed
I wouldn't blame you. It's too early to cast anything in stone, but if I had to bet on one of the high profile '23 rookies being a bust I'd choose QJ. I didn't like him predraft but had to admit that the landing spot and draft capital were both positive.oneson9192 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 7:33 pm I'd take a late '24 second for Quentin Johnson if I had any shares and let them call me a panic-seller. Unbelievable how little this offense can involve everyone but him. Off a bye. With no Mike Williams. When the run game isn't working.
I'm with you. So, so disappointing. I'm also ready to admit my mistake and move on. This low level of usage on a team that could clearly use someone ready to step up is a huge red flag for me.oneson9192 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 7:33 pm I'd take a late '24 second for Quentin Johnson if I had any shares and let them call me a panic-seller. AOC. Yep. That's what I thought.
That hasn't been confirmed by anyone in the coaching staff. I expect them to keep it secret as long as possible, for strategic advantage. I'd prefer AOC, but am not convinced until I see it.wickerkat1212 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2023 9:19 pmAOC. Yep. That's what I thought.
Whoops. Hoyer it isAnteaters wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 4:29 amLast time Jimmy missed a game, AOC was the starter and played well enough. Don't overthink this.
Once again, a good lesson in not getting ahead of your skis too fast based on un-substantiated fan blogs that have no actual source and are running on "vibes based insight".wickerkat1212 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2023 9:19 pmAOC. Yep. That's what I thought.
It's Hoyer again. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports Brian Hoyer will start for the Raiders in Week 7 against the Bears.
Jimmy Garoppolo is out with a back injury this week. Rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell previously got the start when Garoppolo missed time. O’Connell struggled in his lone start, throwing for 238 scoreless yards and an interception. Hoyer entered the lineup when Garoppolo went down mid-game in Week 6. He played well, completing 6-of-10 passes for 102 yards with no interceptions or sacks. He will be tasked with simply taking care of the ball and getting out of Chicago with a win versus UDFA rookie Tyson Bagent at quarterback. Though Hoyer is a downgrade for the offense, Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers remain starting fantasy options for Week 7.

(I like this for Michael Mayer fwiw.)
Poor stupid little McDaniels. It's like he's trying to get fired.
