I'll answer a different question. I don't think Minshew is the answer and I am certain no one in LV (coaches, GM, owner, etc) thinks Minshew is the answer.

Also, I don't think LV will draft a QB at their current draft spot. And I don't think they pay to move up.

So, that leaves us with Minshew not being "the man", no 1st round rookie QB, and no other FA QB coming in. In that scenario, I think AOC has at least a 75% chance at being the QB who starts the most games for LV in 2024. The only question I seriously have is whether or not he will show out enough to be the starting QB on week 1 of 2025.

And if you think I'm joking, I'm not. I'm serious. He's a cool guy and a neat story, but Minshew is NOT THE ANSWER.

...
Wait...so you're more certain of what the coaches, GM and owner think than of what you think? How do I get that kind of insider certainty!? Can you hook me up?

I liked AOC but I recognize the real sheriff just came to town. Minshew Mania in Vegas? How can you not love the thought?

I mean if the powers that be in Vegas actually think Minshew is the QB to turn the franchise around and contend for the super bowl, then I want whatever they're smoking.

The Raiders should bring back "The Snake"

Aidan O’Connell has his own thread with 14 pages.

What a time to be alive.

Crazy that in this Superflex TE premium startup draft in progress that was recently posted here in the DLF forum, Aiden O'Connell lasted until round 23. Taken after guys such as Michael Thomas, Justice Hill, Emanuel Wilson, Michael Carter, Brevin Jordan, DJ Chark, mid 4th round rookie picks, etc.

https://www46.myfantasyleague.com/2024/ ... 57648&O=17

Is that where his superflex value is?

I feel AOC should be above guys like Zach Wilson and Mariota (aka other young guys that could hopefully find a starting role and other backups who are an injury away from a prime starting role). He's one of the few backups who could start the majority of this season without an injury to the starting QB so I SF that has value. He's also young enough for someone to take the risk in his investing to in him.

Considering most drafted him for next to nothing or got him off waivers you can't argue that his value has grown. The.murky part is figuring out of his value has peaked or not.

"Las Vegas Raiders QB Aidan O'Connell earned the right to compete in hopes of retaining the starting role, head coach Antonio Pierce said Sunday, March 24."
