What does this do for his future moving forward? I have him in a couple leagues. In one I took him ahead of Mac Jones in Superflex, and now I'm kinda bummed about it.

Wasn't it just passed that an infinite number of players could be taken off the IR this year?

Yes but that only applies to players on the 53 that get put on IR. If a player is put on IR before final cuts it's for the whole season with no chance for return
