My fear for Kamara is the inability to run through the tackles. That said, he's making such great use of his opportunities elsewhere that I don't know if this will ever really be a problem. He won't be an RB1 without it, though.

I'd rather have Kamara over Zeke but not Saquon. Could change depending on how the full year plays out but he is an incredible football players and a ppr machine. Zeke is on an unimaginative offense that faces stacked boxes every single play.

This is interesting. We are seeing tough sledding for DJ, Zeke, and Saquan due to their situations and Kamara’s will probably change for the worse sooner than later.
How much worse? Unless the Qb after Brees is a complete dumpster fire then I still see Kamara getting his. He is a rookie Qb's best friend, easy dump off passes and let the RB do all the work.

Probably a lot worse. Have you not taken note of how most rookie QBs fare in the first few years? There aren’t any really special receivers on that team, MT is going to have a very tough time too post Brees.

Like I said, while Kamara does run a decent amount of routes down field he is primarily gaining yards from catching short easy throws out of the back field. MT will have a harder time adjusting than Kamara will. Yes Brees is amazing and that by nature moves the offense along and giving kamara more opportunity but its not like he needs the mot accurate NFL passer in history to be able to take easy dump off passes for 20+ yards which he does regularly.

Kamara's production isn't tied directly to Brees. At least not as much as MT's. Kamara is exceptionally talented and he is very good at taking a short dump off pass (a pass that nearly any qb in the league can make) and taking it to the house. He is very explosive, has great hands, body control and vision - That is what makes him so dangerous.

Gurley is in his own tier.
- I still see Kamara as the head of the 2nd tier of Hunt, Barkley, Gordon, Zeke, DJ.

I would not trade my Kamara shares for any of them but Gurley.

Ok, a variation of "the Kamara as the RB1" question...

As a Kamara owner, what would it take for you to trade him away for
1. David Johnson + what?
2. Zeke + what?
3. Bell + what?
4. Hunt + what?
5. Mixon + what?

What in addition to the player(s) listed would it take to pry Kamara away from you RIGHT NOW?

As a pre-season Kamara acquiree, I've been thinking about selling him for one of these guys - if I could get something of value thrown in. But every doggon week, Alvin keeps going off for huge points and reducing any desire to trade him away. Hmmm... wonder if that changes with the Ingram's week 5 return.

Averaged 82% of the snaps through weeks 1-4. He was getting ~50% end of last season with Ingram around. If he keeps up 75%+ with the occasional TWENTY TARGET game then it would be hard for me take anyone over him.

For my money, Kamara is the #2 dynasty rb. I'd rather have him than Barkley, Zeke, Hunt etc. Only Rb I'd rather own in his place would be Gurley.

His snap count will likely go down with Ingram in the fold now. But, going down from low 80% to say even mid to low 70% still puts his snap % higher than last year and we all know what he did last year. He will get his and they (Saints offense) will lean on his playmaking ability.
