Boo. Nate Washington is a multi-millionaire, 11-year pro, with two Super Bowl rings on his hand. And he did it all undrafted. James Washington, Moncrief, and Diontae would all be fortunate to have a career as successful as Nate's when all's said and done.grandmabetty wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 7:14 am i think Nate Washington was bagging my groceries yesterday.

I would recommend buying Washington if you can. I own him pretty much everywhere so may be a bit biased but he can play at this level.

I tell you what, Washington looked pretty damn good tonight! 4-85-1 in the first half. Certainly making his case.

Re: Donte Moncrief.
Washington was good last night. Unfortunately, it means a lot less in this preseason context when the passes he's catching aren't thrown by Roethlisberger.
I don't know if Moncrief is all the way back from that finger injury yet. But if he is, and yet he still completely sat out this game along with all the starters, then last night was even better news for him.

Apparently he's been passed on the depth chart and is now WR4.

Re: Donte Moncrief.
I remember when he was worth two 1sts. Same with CPatt. Sometimes it only takes a few games for a young receiver to skyrocket in value.
Re: Donte Moncrief.
Well that is the end of that - released.
Re: Donte Moncrief.
C'est la vie. No regrets hoping he had succeeded but not exactly surprised he has been released - and while I am sure he'll get more chances to play - I'd also say that its 99% likely at most he'll be a team WR4-5-6 going forward.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..
Re: Donte Moncrief.
No surprise.
Maybe he can resurrect his career somewhere but wouldn't be surprised if he is done.

Re: Donte Moncrief.
Seems pricey, given that he’s absolutely behind Moore & Samuel and unlikely to play the slot, so is likely behind Wright as well.
