I can definitely see Buffalo "trade" out of Diggs for a guy like Higgins/Pittman or even Hollywood. Not actually trade Diggs for one of them, but end the offseason with Diggs off the team and a new WR1 on the team. Those are all good route runners with great hands and would bring less drama to the team.

Interesting thought. I wonder how much of an obstacle his contract is to that move. Seems fairly unattractive to me on the surface (his guarantee is really big) but I'm no expert.

He agitated for a trade somewhere around this point last year... the whole "has lost faith in the Buffalo offense" line that was reportedly coming from his camp. (It was quickly denied and squashed) At that point, his contract was almost completely immovable between the dead cap hits and guaranteed money set to toll for both 23 and 24.

I believe there's a big difference with his contract this year, though. It's far more tradeable, and has a built-in escape clause for 2025. I believe a lot of the guarantees are set to toll at various league-year dates through 2024 as well.

With another strong WR class set to come in, and Gabe Davis set to hit FA - I believe we can set our watches to the Bills going premium WR in the draft. Big changes are likely coming for that locker room, for sure.

I think the Falcons should sign Kirk Cousins, AND try and draft a QB. Cousins would put this offense through the roof, and develop a guy behind him for a few years.
