Why not try and "revolutionize" the league? I've often thought about this. Why not do that? Have a running QB that's (maybe) a better thrower than Taysom Hill, and a good QB, one that can pass, under center. All kinds of fun stuff you could do.
It's not the worst idea. He doesn't have a classic rb build, but why not. At least put him at kick returner. He might have more return touchdowns than passing. Chicago would love him.

OK, and? I don't understand what this is suppose to prove, exactly. It's all going to be good now, is that it? There is close to an infinite amount of quotes like this from players at every position, after they lose and don't play well.

Fields isn't a good NFL QB. We have almost 30 starts of evidence of that. There's very little reason to think he ever will be an above average NFL QB unless something changes, drastically, and there are no signs of that to date, unless this quote is considered that.
Sorry, this was just my feeble attempt at dry humor. I just found it a bit ironic that Fields thought that his problem was thinking too much. I'm not quite certain what he was thinking when he had a perfectly good, well protected, pocket with an unobstructed view of three totally open receivers and didn't pull the trigger. He could have at least tucked it and ran for a good 10 to 20 yards instead of taking a sack. I guess he's just not good with multiple choice questions.

Actually, truth be told, I just wanted to bump this thread in hopes that it would draw some traffic away from the All Things Bears thread.

I'd be selling ... he has that deer in the headlights look .. I remember watching Randall Cunningham drop some big games with that look ..

At this rate, the thread title will be needing a change to "What are people doing with Justin Fields, holding or dropping?".

Damn, sorry Todd. I missed that one. My bad, buddy.

Is ‘fire sale-ing’ and option?

Apparently some people are still able to get Love for him… I’d jump on that

Fields was one of the most obvious sells this offseason. He was being valued at or near guys like LJax, which was absurd.

I'd sell low to believers after he pops off for a good week or two.

Surely this is fake news.

I sure as hell wouldn't sell Love - the 3rd highest scoring QB in Fantasy this year - for a future RB... QB's are worth way more.

Agreed. I don't know how people thought he wasn't, I think Jalen Hurts set people up for this. Seriously, people saw that and thought this would be the same, despite almost nothing about it being the same, other than trading for a WR.

I'd laugh that offer off if I was offered it. I honestly wouldn't trade a first for Fields in a SF league.

That's a good comparison. Few owners wanted to pay for Hurts that offseason. Fields was the complete opposite this time around.

Probably a good time now to try to sell Fields, after 2 good weeks in a row.
