Yeah, NYG is my nightmare too, but not really sure it is any worse than NYJ.

I wish I could have that certainty about any rookie ever!!! Good on ya for being so convinced of Nabers future regardless of landing spot and situation. Seriously.

I'm too much of an equivocating wimp about rookies to ever commit so fully to their NFL success. I see the potential floor of almost ever rookie in every year as somewhere between low-end flex and garbage. I'm always hopeful, but also always a little doubtful.
I am not normally this optimistic about a draft class. I just think this class is special.
IMO, Ja'Marr Chase, Marvin Harrison Jr, and Malik Nabers are the top 3 WR prospects to come out of the draft in the past 10 years.

Sure, Nabers could get a bad landing spot, like Garrett Wilson did, but he is already more talented coming out of college than GW was in 2022.

Could he bust like Sammy Watkins? Sure, that is always a risk, just as there is the risk that GW will never average more than 13 PPR PPG in a season in his entire career.

To clarify, you don't think GW's counting stats or efficiency metrics are going to improve at all as he transitions from Zach Wilson and whatever else we saw these last two seasons at QB to Rodgers?

Maybe improve slightly, but not as much as others seem to think.
Jets are still the Jets, and Aaron Rodgers is now 40 years old.

Because we play fantasy, and we want more than 12.5 PPR PPG.

that has gotta be one of the most insane comments i've seen on here in a long while. rookie fever in full swing.

Right now I'll take Wilson, post NFL draft I could see myself taking Nabers

as a bitter Jets fan, unless you are in serious contention for the championship I would take the cash outs for Wilson and Hall. Once Rodgers leaves this team is about to go into the crapper for the next 5 to 10 years again. And I believe NYG is taking QB this yr so good chance Nabers lands in a good spot.

I definitely agree that cashing out Hall is the right move if you aren't in serious contention. But I'd say that if they had Josh Allen as their QB. Hall projects to be a stud regardless of the QB situation. But holding a guy like Hall when you aren't contending is just poor management.

Nabors only because its the Jets(longterm the QB is unkown), maybe there hope for them the Bears finally seem to have learned something.

I know some of the opinions others have expressed between Wilson and Nabers so far. How would everyone rank Wilson, Nabers, Gibbs? I know Gibbs is a different position, but I have had talks and could potentially move either Wilson or Gibbs for the pick that will be Nabers. Seems like a lateral move from Wilson to Nabers, IMO, unless he lands with Chargers or Cardinals. Gibbs is interesting because I prefer building around stud WR and winging it at RB, but I am competing this year, so it’s possible Gibbs would be the better asset.

Full on Win Now:

Gibbs
Wilson
Nabers

For me it would be:

Nabers
Wilson
Gibbs

Just because I hate tying up large draft capital in my leagues in the RB position.
Something to do with it being Full PPR, as well as only needing 2 RB's with 3 WR slots and 3 Flex slots.
I'd rather take the safer, longer lasting asset (WR), over the riskier, shorter term asset (RB).

I'm fine playing with RB's like Rachaad White, Pacheco, Rhamondre, Kyren, 2nd/3rd/4th round picks in my RB slots, while Ja'Marr Chase, Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, Puka Nacua, Garrett Wilson, etc., man my WR slots.

In my SF leagues, my QB rooms and WR rooms get top priority.
Now if that means I can get Nabers/Wilson + for Gibbs, all the better.

I’d say:
Nabers
Wilson
Gibbs

I would not trade a top 3 pick for Gibbs or Wilson. :snooty:

I also don’t reserve “capital” for certain positions and just wing it at others, or plan to compete certain years while I rebuild: I just retool the team like a CPI project and keep the wheels rolling so YMMV.

Nabers is a better prospect than G Wilson. I don't know about Wilson being his floor, and Chase his ceiling, but I'd take Nabers over Wilson.
