I can't say I expected Mostert or Kyren. But Rachaad White was staring a bellcow role straight in the face. And with the amount that he caught the ball out of the backfield last year...it was easy for me to see, personally.

I made the playoffs in 5 of 9 leagues, with 4 first round byes.
3 teams made it to the Finals. Lost a heart-breaker in week 16 despite Amari Cooper's best efforts.

I will be the favorite in 2 of the 3 championship games.

I will be the underdog in a 14 team SF TEP league where I finished 1st with a 13-1 record.
I will be missing Burrow and C. Kirk, and also expect Ja'Marr Chase and Rhamondre to miss week 17 too.
See what happens.

Top 5 was easy to see? On a Bucs team most expected to be terrible this year?

On Mostert - I think most people kept thinking the run had to end. I wonder how many times I heard a redraft analyst say that the window to sell Mostert was closed because Achane this or Wilson that. Have Mostert on one dynasty team and have ridden him to the most points and a berth in the 'ship. Wasn't really by choice - more by default. Why trade him off a contender? Sometimes you just ride these guys until there's nothing left.

Projecting team success doesn't factor into the equation for me much. Look at the RBs for the top teams in the league
CMC (11-4)
Gus Edwards (12-3)
Pollard (10-5)
Swift (11-4)
Mostert/Achane (11-4)
Gibbs/Montgomery (11-4)

I prefer to project touches, and knowing that Rachaad White's strength was catching the ball with no competition for touches out of the backfied - it just felt like no matter the game plan, or game script, Rachaad White would be involved and have a high floor. To me that's a recipe for steady, consistent production - which is a sneakier way for players to become top players.

Part of rebuilding a team is finding players that are going to ascend in value and outplay their expectations. I traded for White at the end of last season with this in mind. I think he will be even better next year, personally.

I think you should start Wilson. Pittman has a shoulder issue on top of the concussion concerns. No guarantee he plays or is effective. a zero in the ship sucks.

A “bellcow” role only goes so far—TDs are what separates the top 5 RBs from the rest (well, that and health). Rachaad White and Tony Pollard both have similarly high snap counts this season, but White has about double the TDs. That’s where team success usually comes into play.

Broncos considering sitting Russell Wilson the last two games so he doesn’t get hurt. Carr and Garoppolo situation all over again.

Such strange incentives created by terrible contracts. Sort of screws both sides in some ways.

Pittman still in concussion protocol. So I'm not holding my breath there. At least GW gets a ton of targets.

I don't remember a week this terrible for WR. I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel in one league. Lost Kirk then Allen and now Waddle. If I end up winning this week it will be pure dart throw luck.
