Lol !

Are you planning to include some blips on the "next tranche" of 2023 RBs? E.G. guys like Charbonnet, Spears, Bigsby, Roschon? Or is that not really what this thread is generally about? Or...are they all JAGS in your humble opinion?
Sorry, was just super lazy about it this year. It’s possible I’ll add it in at some point before the season starts but not likely. I was waiting to post this thread until I got motivated and did all the work but it never happened so just posted the basics.

Thank you this year and as always, DD!!

For what it's worth, I don't think you owe any apologies. You're doing us all a huge service, and we're just deeply grateful. Thank you!!

Achane, he is super close to tier 1 in your model. At the combine he was listed at 188 lbs. Assuming he didnt lose a step and is walking around at 195+ now, do you think he would reach the threshold for tier 1?

Yeah probably will do that next year
Sweet! Thanks for doing it :)

That would be a big assumption, but yes he would if he didn't lose a step.

So I'm completely pulling this out of my bleep, but maybe there is something to it ... could Achane's speed be amplified (or his lack of size be minimized as a factor) since he is on a team with so many other speed guys? Basically, his career arc will be much different in Miami than if he had been drafted by Pittsburgh.

He's confirmed to be at 192

And still really, really fast

I totally understand what you’re saying and believe that yes you have a point that his speed will be amplified on a team where the defenders will be paying so much attention to the other track stars on the team. I see more big plays for him on this team with these teammates than on a team of normal speed guys like Pittsburgh so you’ve got a point

Ah, I've seen recently that he is now looking at 197. Not confirmed or official in any capacity, but I would assume if there sag 197 he is hovering around that 192-197 range

I am so excited to see what this Miami offense can do. You have to play cover 2, but you cant give a guy like Achance any space either.. Such a conundrum for defenses

UDFA with a heart condition. I’m lower than most. The problem is that even if he gets a chance, the medical risk is non-modifiable and that will always hurt his value. Thus far he is doing drills

If he's at least 5'9, 192, which is confirmed, then he currently at a 28.4 BMI. That's .7 less than Jahmyr Gibbs (same height, 7 pound difference), .1 less than Tony Pollard and .3 higher than Christian McCaffrey. I just couldn't imagine a few points making me concerned about size to that level when he checks so many other boxes.

Agreed with this. He's discount Gibbs this year if you've already talked yourself into that profile.

Aaaaaand in saying that, he's now injured "Day to Day"
Head coach Mike McDaniel listed Achane as "day-to-day" after the running back didn't suit up for Saturday's practice due to an undisclosed injury, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
